Really liked this hotel! We came in late and left decently early the next morning, but it was quiet and comfortable. The man at the front desk was very friendly! I love that it is on the river, the capitol looks beautiful at night and the sunrise was great! You can tell they care about the ambiance they provide with all the benches and places to sit looking out at the river. Mostly, I appreciate that it’s a great spot to stay with a dog, there is a lot of green space, it’s right on a walking trail, and they even supply a poop bag dispenser. We have our own bags, but little touches like that show they care. We’ve stayed at a lot of dog friendly hotels that are just garbage and have no where for potty breaks! Anyway, if we’re ever going through Pierre again, this is where we’d stay!

Loved the cleanliness, quiet, privacy,and coffee!!! Pool/fitness areas need renovation, but at this price rate if youre just looking for a decent place to stay for anything work related this is it! Room (despite me having pet allergies and this hotel being "pet-friendly") was extraordinaryily clean and i suffered no more bother than at other "no pet" motels! The room cleanliness makes up for a "no frills" family fun hotel for me. I have 4 children and would be wary if the pool area (though, admittedly as a former lifeguard, my pool cleanliness standards are higher than the norm, and I no longer swim in lakes...:-). I was able to get a satisfying workout completely alone (the best way) in the "no frills" gym area (a couple cardio machines, and what I'd term "woman-friendly" weights. Hey, if ypu really want to exercise you can FIND a way to do so--trust me. I will definitely stay here again.
