Breakfast was disappointing. In previous stays at Hampton the breakfast used to be good and have more hot items , plus vegetarian options. No cut fruits, no potatoes it was not the quality i have seen before.

For a double bed room it is by no means big enough for a family of four. There are no dressers for anyone doing an extended stay to keep stuff for a family. There is a tiny table in the corner of the room big enough for two at most . So you can not eat in the room if you wanted. The fireplaces downstairs both outside and inside were not on. It’s in the 40’s how cold does it have to get before they are on?

We did a 2 night stay. Bed was comfy but take your own pillow. Breakfast offered more options than a lot of places but would have liked to have had bacon added. Note it may be offered on a day of the week that we were not there for as different items were offered on the days we were there. Hotel was very clean which was important ! Putt-Putt and Lost Mine mountain coaster were next door. We very much enjoyed the fire pit across the parking lot.

Hotel breakfast was great! Love all the fireplaces inside and outside! Had a bug in the bathroom and the glass shower kept opening while showering. That's why only 4 stars...otherwise great location!

The room was pretty standard. Last night fridge was humming most of night. Hallways really cold in am. Breakfast was typical but wish they had bacon mythan once as I don't eat sausage and scrambled eggs would be better than those egg flops, don't like those esp with cheese. Hot tub was outside and it was cold out. Should have a grab bar to get in though. It was a different type.

On the 2nd night of our stay (which was our anniversary) our air in the room quit . We reported it and received 2 calls while we was enjoying the Dixie Stamped that it could not be fixed. So on our return to Hampton we had to move all of our stuff at 9:00 at night. So inconvenient. We did request an upgrade to another room Denied.

We arrived at 4 and our room wasn’t ready yet. But we were not alone many other groups were waiting. Our family who we traveled with ended up having the room next to the maintenance room which a fire started in at 1:00 am and the fire alarms went off. Everyone evacuated in the building and my family members had to move at 1:30 at night to a different room. There were firefighters and police in there room checking him out. My brother in law had problems breathing and his throat hurt the rest of the trip. He did ask for some compensation and they gave his a room for a future stay. We are hoping he doesn’t have any long term problems from the smoke.

We had a great two days here. Cheerfully welcomed at the door and respected as customers. Great breakfast and the coffee was perfect. Room was comfortable and clean. We'll be back :)

The hotel was clean and recently updated. It's walkable to some attractions and restaurants and has lots of parking. Our only complaint is there was no one to tell us what was going on when the fire alarm went off. We eventually found a fireman who told us what had happened and when it was safe to go back to our room.
