Check-in at the hotel was smooth and easy. However, the room itself was not clean. There was dirt on the bathroom floor, dust covering the nightstand and light fixtures, and a thick buildup of dust on the A/C unit. The top of the TV and the headboard were also coated in dust.
The next morning, a housekeeping team—a mother and son—came to clean the room. They were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to remove all the dust and clean the A/C filters, which were caked with debris. They apologized repeatedly and explained that this wasn’t their usual floor, as they were filling in. I truly appreciated their extra effort and attention to detail.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness issues extended beyond the room. The elevators had dirty floors, walls, and doors, and the lobby floor near the elevators was dirty and sticky. Overall, the hotel needs to improve the cleaning and sanitizing of the guest rooms, common areas, and pool area.
