This hotel has a strict policy of not cancelling any reservation even you have a solid reason to do so, my flight was so delayed that I had to cancel it . When I tried to use Expedia reservation insurance if say it expired, when Expedia.com tried to contact the hotel, Pigeon River did not care and I ended with a charge of $166 without using the room. I understand policies but this is the first time I wanted to try this hotel and it will be the last one, since management did not do any effort for at least giving a credit for one night. Please be better, its not always about money but satisfaction and recurrent guests. Thank You! Freddie Ortiz
