Hotel was built in the 70's, and has a fun unique design. The lobby, bar, dining room are a fun space. The pool is the jewel for kids, a legitimate water slide and a decently sized hot tub. Don't expect a deep pool, nothing deeper than 3ft. Food/ drink/ item shop available in pool area. Be prepared to see bears in the parking lot, you CAN NOT keep any food or drinks including soda in your car, the bears will break into your car. Fun town to spend time in for kids and adults, we will be visiting again.

The best part about this property is the pool area. We all had a great time on the slide and in the pool. The room was ok. Not what I expect from a Hilton property though. It needs updating in major ways. The carpet was soaking wet in front of the air conditioner and the ceiling started drying on my husband in the middle of the night. The A/C unit was so loud at night that none of us could sleep. It went from sounding like a UFO was going to land to a freight train coming thru. Both times I was at the front desk others were there complaining too. I hope their situations were resolved. Ours were not. The staff didn't seem to care at all. I felt completely ignored. I'm not sure we will stay here again. We were so disappointed. Not at all like our previous stays.

Food options within the hotel. Overall good service and great staff that are friendly. Close to the main towns. Will come back again. Friend and I were on the 12th floor with a mountain view. It was worth it.

Our room at 506 . And it has a picture on the wall over the bed that looks like there is slaves walking through the mountains. My husband is a black man. This really really upset him and he was ready to leave since he got there because of it, but that really ruined my trip with him because he kept saying there were slaves and they was being prejudice to him because they knew he was gonna be in there and he was a black man that really really disturbed him. That’s the only thing I would have changed the picture really needs to come off the wall. I would love to go back, but after this, this is not a good idea with him and at checkout, I had charges on my bank account that the guy Ronnie could not explain why I was getting charged $138 extra and it’s still going through my phone in my checking account. I would like something done about my vacation being the bus because of the picture on the wall and my husband right over it being slaves. If you can, please help me I spend tons of money for him to just be mad and upset the whole time.

Awesome place to stay!

The staff were amazing offering warm baked cookies at check in. Housekeeping did a wonderful job making sure the room was clean and stocked daily. Beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains and the shuttle service to Gatlinburg was convenient eliminating the need to pay for parking. Food and drinks ordered at the bar were great along with friendly staff. Loved staying there!

This place is overrated. Everything about this stay was terrible. I suppose I had 3 nights I ended it in 2. Dogs, bugs biting, bathroom too small and nasty. The balcony is narrow and water stinks from AC running. Health Department news too shut this place down. The staff is super. But this place ain’t fit at all.
