The people at the front desk were friendly and mostly helpful. I was disappointed that I requested twice to have my tv looked at because it wouldn’t connect to the cable and no one showed. Annoying.

The hotel was ok. Parking situation was not great. Their garage is crumbling so they are using a vacant lot around the corner. Booked a room with two queens, got two fulls instead. Not worth complaining or trying to change it. Probably why hotels do that and get away with it. One of three elevators wasn’t working. The paid breakfast was subpar to most free continental breakfasts. Pool was fun enough for the kids and overall it was clean and good enough.

I would never stay at this property again. The first room we were given was under construction which i'm not sure how they missed that when assigning us the room. The second room had discolorations on the ceiling and ladybugs in the curtains. The person checking us in said our room number out-loud which is a safety issue in a crowded waiting area. The valet couldnt find my car keys at check out. I'd honestly give it zero stars but i'm being generous.

I was nervous about the property due to its location & what I've heard from some others, but it was the only option for my timing & I took a chance. The exterior looked extremely dated & a bit unkempt & the neighborhood seemed dark & unsafe. However, upon entering the staff was super pleasant, super helpful, & I was in my room in like 2 minutes from walking into the lobby to my front door. Room was a cozy size & well appointed. All new fixtures & incredibly clean. I was very pleasantly surprised. I did find a sock in the closet left behind by a previous guest, but otherwise, all seemed very sanitary. TV wouldn't turn on, but the WiFi was very adequate to stream entertainment, so for one night, it worked.

Arrived late and restaurant staff were very helpful preparing me a late night take out meal. Breakfast very good. Allowed me to check out late as I was waiting for a ride.

The check in process was easy, and the front desk clerks were friendly. The parking garage is still not complete so the cars are parked off property. Getting a spot to temporarily park for the check in process can be challenging. Valet is an option which we used and would recommend. The staff was able to get our car quickly when requested. We had a concern on our 2nd night with smelling smoke in which we contacted the desk. They said they would send someone up to investigate, However there was no follow up. After 20 minutes of still smelling smoke in our room and in the hallway, I contacted the desk and they asked to remind them of our concern. At that point they contacted maintenance who said they checked our floor and “it seems like someone was cooking in their room.” We asked if they had confirmed the source and were told not to worry, the staff does regular fire checks. Hopefully that was true, all turn d out well but it was a little unnerving. We’ve stayed at this property in the past without any issues.

The pictures are very deceiving. The fitness center was down the restrooms near the eating location for breakfast was down the shower hardly drained. The shower handle did not work. It was hard to get hot water with a broken shower handle. The parking lot was under construction so you couldn’t self park and had to rely on valet. To their credit, the valet was complementary as you would hope.

There was no hot water on the first morning when I went to take a shower. The person at the front desk said it would warm up if I let it run about 20 minutes. The same was true the second day. In the evening there was hot water on both of those days. It was fixed for the third and fourth days after I spoke to someone at the front desk who then contacted engineering to take care of things. The property is gradually updating their facilities. Make sure you check with staff the day before to make sure you are in part of the building that has already been upgraded so will have hot water in the morning. On my last evening while I was brushing my teeth, a cockroach wandered into the bathroom. When I told the front desk person the day after, she asked why I didn't call down to let someone know. It's not clear what she thought anyone could have done by coming up to my room to see the dead cockroach. A better thing for her to day is that she will notify management immediately. I had to recommend that to her.

Its a definite No for my next visit

Parking was down the street in a dark parking lot and valet waa not used because the attendant was never at their post for my two day stay. The restaurant was amazing the food chefs kiss. The bartender and staff were very inviting and a joy. The room though not so good as the tub didnt drain and the wall mirror fell off the wall.

The parking garage is closed for renovation , the hotel website never mentions that. The hotel does offer free valet parking. The issue is if you forego the valet, you are forced to park at the TD Bank parking lot. The parking lot and surrounding sidewalks are packed with 3 inches of ice, very dangerous to walk. I walked into the bar at 10:30 pm and was told last call was already called. You would think that they would have had the garage renovated before the winter weather set in. I guess all this doesn't matter if you're staying there in July.
