Me and my husband picked this hotel for the amenities (specifically the pool and hot tub) and they were down for maintenance during our stay. I understand these things happen and dont blame the hotel, just kinda sucked for us. Idk about the area during the day, but its not a place id want to be walking around at night. We stopped to get gas at the station up the road and passed many homeless people sleeping, throwing fits, etc, even watched one start a blown out fight with a man trying to assist her. Not really a safe area and that sucks bc of the shops and stuff around, it seems like a nice area to park and window shop but that cant happen in that area

I wish I had read the reviews more closely—this was one of our worst stays in years. Our king suite was extremely dark, with black walls, curtains, and poor lighting. The bedroom had only one bedside lamp, and the sitting area’s two lamps were too dim. The sink area was even worse, with weak wall sconces in the darkest part of the room. Basic amenities were lacking. The toilet paper ran out almost immediately, and no extra rolls were provided. We also had to call for linens for the pull-out bed, despite booking for three people. Housekeeping was inconsistent—one night, they tidied everything, but the next, they only made the bed and skipped fresh towels and supplies. We tipped nightly. Worst of all, we returned one evening to find our door left open and unlocked, propped by the deadbolt. I mistakenly thought I had booked a free breakfast, but even when I showed an Expedia offer with a lower rate that included it, they refused to adjust my charge. Instead, we got three $10 breakfast vouchers—one per night for three people. Since oatmeal was $10 and coffee $5, they didn’t go far. The pool was closed without notice, and loud pop music played nonstop throughout the hotel. Parking was $16/day in an unmonitored public garage where others parked for free. EV charging was cutthroat, requiring an app, a waitlist, and luck. On a positive note, the Skiff restaurant had friendly bartenders, good drinks, and great oysters, though the rest of the food was average.

Awesome experience, beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including coffee/tea and water stations on each floor which was a great touch. Cute cafe for drinks and food as well. Very clean and large building that looked very modern and boutiquey. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel its self was extremely clean, the staffing in the front office was inforative and polite. The restaurant and bar area employees were fun and attractive. All around great atmosphere and clean surroundings!! Pool area could use a little more attention as there were no clean towels whil i was there and the towel laundry hamper was overflowing, other that that one complaint it was a relaxing and quite environmentally with plunty to do close to the hotel!

Quite good! Friendly check in, room is very nice and close to Church Street, restaurants and shops and the lake. Bathroom super clean with nice quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap. Water bottle in the room, free coffee/tea wet bar on the floor. Giant tv. City parking garage under the hotel for 16$/night.

The staff is very kind and helpful. We forgot my husband’s ID card in the room key pack and we weren’t even noticed. Someone rushed to give it back to us in the parking lot. We appreciate their support. We would definitely come back.
