We really enjoyed our stay. The quality of food was ok but the availability in restaurants was very limited so we ate at the buffet alot which is similar things daily. The rooms were well kept but as an avid traveler I would say they need to be updated, TV’s are outdated, balcony was not kept clean, shower needs a deep scrub and a lot of the decorations had cracks in them like the water fountains. You could just tell they were older. the pool needs to be scrubbed. Overall we had a great time. They are remodeling the sister resort which is great but an inconvenience to us because we couldn’t access all Of the amenities.

There is lots of walking but the grounds are well kept and the staff are amazing. There’s a reason they are doing renovations but the resort will be amazing after. We upgraded to a swim out and would 100% do it again. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfy. Key card and tv stopped working but that is the only issue. At the snack Rivieria buffet we had the best service ALL the time. Our servers were always either Raziel or Aboclon, they were AMAZING. They were super friendly, great conversations and remembered us everyday and things we said we were doing the night before. Our rooms were cleaned and stocked very well. This resort has some of the best service I have experienced!

The food was the only thing that was disappointing, not great quality. Lots of walking if you don’t take shuttle but it’s beautiful grounds. Very impressed with security here.

Everything was great, from the food choices to the access to the beach to the entertainment and shows. The only negative I would say is that they don’t have elevators and the resort is so spread out, it takes a while to walk from your room to the restaurants. Also, the map of the resort was totally wrong. We had to walk even more, because we had to ask for directions to several restaurants because the maps were totally wrong.

Staff and service was great! Everyone was very kind and helpful when asked questions. The property was under renovation so half the resort was closed. A handful of the activities were not available to do which was a bummer considering we paid for them. No kayaks, no archery, had to pay extra to use the hobie cat if we didn’t have sailing experience despite the signs saying they are free on site. Can not really snorkel here. The water is too rough and not super clear/no wildlife. The resort does a great job trying to keep the seaweed off the beach for customers! The food is okay. I’ve yet to find an all inclusive that does great food. I understand when cooking for the masses food is usually more bland so i do keep that in mind. However when it comes to the a la carte restaurants, i do expect a bit more flavor. I liked that the property cared about preserving the wildlife around. It was lovely to get to see so many critters and LOVED the kitties on property. Very good kitties. One day our power went out but the resort was on it and got everyone back up and running quickly. Nightly shows were good. Simple but i liked that a handful were based in Mexican culture instead of just being “entertainment”. Loved that the kids center was tucked away from the pools so there was quiet for the adults. Beach was lovely. Most resorts don’t provide the cute shaded umbrellas but Princess had them all over for regular customers and vip. Overall i would recommend this property.

Beautiful lush grounds with deer, coati and iguanas. Great buffet options. The sports bar is open 24 hours with snacks. Unfortunately beach was really seaweedy so didnt get to enjoy swimming in it.but was picturesque. The shows at night were good. They did have a Disco bar to dance at.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to your needs. The property was well manicured and very pretty. We loved seeing all the wild animals. We were disappointed at the limited menu choices and the quality and the lack of flavor/taste of food in some restaurants. We were also disappointed that there were things not available to us as promised due to the construction of the adjacent property. Overall, we had a great time and would consider coming back.

Everything was amazing but the below! CONS: Food options and quality was horrible. We couldn’t do any rsvp since after the first day on the resort; it was a very disappointing experience on our 20th anniversary here! Best food we had was when we went into the city. PROS: Maya spa service was one of the best experiences we both ever had! We truly loved the experience thanks you so much Roberto and Neomi! We book our vacation at the Grand Riviera Princess (Villa's) and were moved to the Platinum Yucatan Princess. The resort was ok but definitely not the room we booked. We feel like we definitely did not get the room we paid for!

We really enjoyed staying here end of April! Staff and facility were amazing!! Very fun activities and entertainment! The food was great with a variety of options. The only downside was that the beach was full of seaweed, but still super nice water if you swim out a little further past the seaweed.

Do NOT stay at this property unless you like mold and rude staff. We got a swim up room there was mold all over the walls outside, the fridge had old food in it, our air didn’t work well, the toilets kept plugging up and they were doing work on the unit next door and the smell was super toxic and heavy. Talked to a couple managers and they were going to comp 4 of the 6 messages we got (we had 5 rooms). When it came time to check out they had only comped 2 messages and refused to comp the rest. I wouldn’t sign the papers and they refused to let the shuttle driver leave. We ended up being late to the airport and my 82 year old grandmother about had a heart attack as fast as we had to go. No respect from most staff, not at all like the other resort la we’ve stayed at. Very disappointed.
