We stayed at the hotel for 6 days, and overall it was a great experience. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with a full kitchen (including pots, utensils, glasses, and even a blender). The air conditioning is excellent and quiet. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower, but since we had read that this is a common issue in Playa, we adjusted our expectations and it wasn’t a problem.
The room was always clean, fresh-smelling, and tidy. The pool area is simple but new and functional. The location is excellent, right next to Walmart and the ADO station, with an easy walk to Fifth Avenue. On weekends, there’s a local market in a nearby square with beautiful local art — we loved it! There’s also a convenience store right in front of the hotel.
The reception service was always very quick. I asked a question through Expedia’s chat during my stay, and they replied within a few minutes.
The hotel is close to the buzz of Fifth Avenue but far enough to guarantee complete silence at night.
If you’re interested in doing laundry, I recommend www.lavanderia24hrspdc.com, which I found through another review. The prices were fair, and the service was ready in one day :)
