Two different rooms with a few big differences between them. One room had a thick wall between the two beds with an open doorway (would have been awesome had there been a door!) And a spacious bathroom. The other room most of the wall between the beds removed and a small bathroom area. The rear entry to both rooms goes through the bathrooms. Would stay here again.

Lava Hotel We’ve stayed at the Lava Hotel (Courtyard View) twice, and will do so again when we get a good rate. They are a very short drive from the main office and convenient to the hot spring pool. The rooms at this location are pretty basic/ no frills. Our room was very clean, although the building and rooms could use some painting/ maintenance. The wall-unit AC drowned out most exterior sounds. Our room had plenty of electrical outlets. No closet, but there were wall hooks that worked for us. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room had a small fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. (We knew to bring our own for the second trip.) Parking is tight and limited for these rooms. Our bed was firm, but comfy and clean. The location is perfect for walking the town. (There is even a back path to a great Bar & Grill, where you can get good food, seated right on the River.) Our bathroom was large, with a wall-mounted hair drier and a garden tub/shower with good pressure and hot water. The towels and washcloths were good sized and soft/absorbent. The WiFi signal is not very good for these rooms, but is probably much stronger if you move toward the office. Our courtyard had an outdoor table and three metal chairs. There is a courtyard for each of these rooms, but they are along the common walkway to the rooms. If you enjoy being friendly to others who pass by, this can be a bonus. The hot spring pool, next to the river, is cleaned twice a week.

An older place but clean. In the middle of Main Street. Close to everything. Elevated deck overlooking the street. Office ladies couldn’t have been nicer. We will go back!

The folks at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were good and spacious. Fridges came with drinks for sale. The location was close to everything. Very convenient! Also has its own hot pool! Only thing is that the train tracks is nearby so we heard a train go by every so often.

I went over the Memorial Day weekend so no one was working at the hotel while I was staying there. I checked in and didn't see anyone until I checked out. The hotel is very clean and updated. I did like the hot springs pool that's owned by the hotel. Even though it's a block away from the hotel, but worth the walk. I will stay there again.
