Access to their sister property’s hot spring pool was nice. It was only a 2-3 minute walk from our room. The air conditioning kicked a$$ in our room!! The tub is Massive (could easily fit 5-6 midg3ts) and they pipe in the hot springs water directly into the tub inside the hotel room to soak privately!!!

We love visiting Lava every year. Last year we found a last minute booking at the home hotel. It’s a little older than some of the hotels but Tracy (front desk) made it awesome. We were so happy when she called the day before our booking to make sure we were coming. The only thing I asked is if she was going to be there . She truly makes it feel like you are staying with relatives - all the good parts, none of the annoying parts. Thanks Tracy and we hope to see you next year.

The check-in experience was wonderful, lovely lady at the front desk. Our room was clean and we were able to park right in front of it as an assigned spot. The facilities were a bit outdated and just remember, the minerals do a number on the tubs! But everything else was spotless and totally enjoyable for our 2 night stay.

Cozy place to stay, central to everything

We had the best time in Lava Hot Springs and the Home Hotel. Such a nice town, tucked into the mountains and the hotel offered a very comfortable, clean and relaxing place for us to stay. We'll definitely be coming back soon.
