Got there for check in and had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to come out and help us. Get into our room to turn the bed down and the sheets were dirty. Called the front desk guy to come look which he said "these bottom sheets have not been changed and we have had trouble with this cleaning lady before." He changed the sheets himself. Pillows were awful also.

Just a little too basic.
We were just passing through but big negative. There was no microwave since we get there late and leave early. No restaurants, convenient and the TV kind of just hangs in the room and it might walk into the bathroom. I walked ght into it.
When I walked in at 4:10 pm I was told that he didn't know if the house keepers had our room cleaned yet and that they haven't been cleaning them properly. I checked into my room and noticed dried blood like fingertips and called because of it. I went down to the front desk due to housekeeping not coming up yet after 30 minutes. The front office told me that they forgot to tell them. Coming from a medical professional that knows what can come from blood. This is NOT okay. I was not offered a refund. I was met with a rude attitude. I'm not happy at all. I DONT recommend at all.
Had an unexpected family emergency and had to leave immediately from my home in Michigan to get to the hospital to be with my 90 yr old mother. I drove all night with no sleep and I called the motel to see if I could check in early to get some sleep and they allowed me to check in immediately. They were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here.
The room was fine when we walked in, but the headboards on the bed were covered in dust with visible fingerprints, The door look was extremely hard to latch. The door kept opening and the beds were hard as a rock. Good for a night but would definitely look elsewhere first.
Let’s start with the positives. The water pressure was good and it’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It goes downhill from there. The towels are all varying sizes and smaller than they should be. The smell in the building is horrendous. It morphed overnight from smelling like a wet dog to pure, unfiltered diarrhea. It also appears to be somewhat of a party house for Poplar Bluff? Loud noises all night. Idk. If all this is worth $70 to you, have at it.
