Last Minute Stay

Our flight was canceled so we had to scramble to find a hotel for the 6 of us, we booked 2 exact same rooms, unfortunately we were in separate towers nowhere near each other. They were great about sending a shuttle van to the airport to get us, and take us back the next day, we just told the front desk what time and they made sure we were on time. Our rooms had a pull out sofa bed, unfortunately both of the rooms closets did not have sheets, pillows or blankets for the pull out beds so we had to retrieve them from the front desk. The king bed was comfortable enough. Could’ve used more pillows they’re flat so 2 pillows made 1 normal pillow. There’s no button for jets in the hot tub outside. It was hot just no jets. Pool was cold even for being 95 degrees outside. Bar didn’t open until 5. No cereal for kids for breakfast, a small Starbucks is there with a very limited menu, nothing really for small children who are picky eaters. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Stay after flight canceled

Our shuttle driver was energetic and showed us places to eat and get supplies. We will call him "Speedy Gonzales"! Hot tub was great. Location for restaurants good.

Outstanding

This trip was a staycation for my husband and I. Great bartender. January was a difficult month for us. Our Lord Jesus Christ saw us thru. You see my husband had a blockage in the area of what is known as the widow maker. Thankfully the Dr. did an amazing job. I’m sure with the Lord guiding his hands. Thanks for giving us a break.

UPS and downs great location

Customer service was amazing. The room was a little smelly and the water from the shower smelled really bad. I feel bad saying that because this hotel was in such a great location, but I have to be honest on reviews. The beds were not very comfortable either. But the customer service rocks. I have nothing bad to say about the staff, they are all beyond amazing. Location is perfect. HEB is walking distance, so is the movie theater and a couple of food places. Very close to downtown and the VA hospital. And it was loaded with military and I felt very safe. So that was a mega plus.

No drainage from the shower.

The hotel was fine until I showered. The water was not draining and the tub was getting filled while i showered. Felt disgusting. Complained to the front desk the first night and told the maintenance guy so he can fix it. Just to find out he made it worse. I will not stay here again.
