The property was impeccably clean and hospitality was top notch. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was quality and tasty food. We would love to stay again next time we are in the Portland area.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Convenient location. I really wanted to love this place however the bed was probably the most uncomfortable i have slept in and i am typically not picky. My husband and I both did not sleep well at all and only one thin pillow was provided.

Loved the Japanese theme. Onsen was relaxing as well as the deep soaking tub. Only complaint is the fancy toilet was noisy during the night. Also the tub wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, there were hairs in there. Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel and my family enjoyed it.

Very quiet and serene space. Loved the bidet, the koi pond, the rain shower. Very comfortable bed, check in was a breeze. Waterfall was a lovely breakfast-Aiden was knowledgeable, professional and attentive. Loved the items for sale in the lobby, too. Everything was just perfect.

This place is clean, quiet and wonderful. The Onsen style baths are incredibly relaxing. The sake bar rules. The staff is beyond nice and accommodating. It's my favorite hotel in the Portland area for sure. My only complaint is their antiquated ice machine. Otherwise, this is an excellent place to stay.

I liked the aesthetic and cleanliness most of all. Bathroom was huge! Nice bidet. 2 pools but not unisex. Shower and bathroom water temp was not hot enough but sink was way too hot. Expedia’s stated there was a swimming pool, however, the facility stated they had 2 hot springs… they were not hot springs and only one accessible per gender. 2 ft deep warm pool basically.

Beautiful property ... check-in was very good [Sam]. ROOM: The room was attractively appointed, clean and decorated with a strong aesthetic style. Downside - while there was hot water at the sink - the shower had no hot water service. After letting the shower run for several minutes I stopped to stem the water waste. I reported the experience to the desk staff at check-out. FOOD SERVICE: the breakfast offerings were very good when delivered, but the service was very slow in presentation to the table. NOTE: we were the ONLY two customers in the restaurant. Overall, the experience was a mixed outcome given the shower experience and untimely food delivery ... Disappointed on the main - but we'll try this property again and will check the shower "first thing" upon arrival.
