That this for 3 years now is my hotel of Choice (Get it?). Airport very close yet not much noise. Transportation Center just behind the hotel and a nice little walk. Trails! Thompson's Point! Event venue. And Congress Street. The heart of the city is this street. So close to I-95 and I-295, South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Maine Mall!, and minutes from Commercial Street on the mighty Atlantic.

I am not the type of person to ever leave negative reviews. Upon arrival, the gentleman who checked us in was rude and disrespectful towards us. He seemed very frustrated that I asked to pay for the room in cash. Upon arrival to our room we found The bathroom was not cleaned what I would say up to par. But we did not let that get to us we went about our day. When we got back from dinner we got stuck in the elevator. Not enjoyable. When it came time for us to go to bed is when things what significantly downhill. As my friend went to get into her bed. She pulled down the covers and a used condom and condom wrapper fell out of her bed. At this point, we’re absolutely appalled so we went down to the front desk. I asked to have someone go upstairs and change the bedding on both beds and said that I would be seeking some type of compensation. It had been obviously clear that our room was not properly clean and it was disgusting to find what we found in the bed. We seemed to be an inconvenience to them and all that happened was we were handed two piles of new bedding and told to go change the bed ourselves. I said I wanted to speak to a manager and I was told I’d have to call during the week. I called today and was told that the only thing they could do was to give us a refund of $100 on almost our $300 night stay. I feel this was inadequate and we should have not had to pay for a room that was disgusting. We were 3 hours from home and there for an event so not like we could go home
