My husband and I only stayed 1 night but the staff was wonderful. It was very quaint and the breakfast in the morning was really good. The only issue we had was the walls were pretty thin so we could hear the TV playing in the next room. The exterior of the buildings also needs some upkeep, but staff was painting the interior of our building so maybe they are working on that during the less busy season. I would recommend this place if you want quintessential historic Maine.

The location is the best! Very walkable to beach and restaurants. Don’t have high expectations for a typical BnB homade breakfast. They have a subpar continental one.

Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Quirky old hotel with character. However, there were issues with the windows and difficulty/failure to close them. Decoration was shabby. We had to report a safety issue as one of the beds had metal sticking out from the end which was a hazard in the room and caused a nasty fall for one of our party. Breakfast didn't start until 8.30 which we considered was too latealthough we had been informed that it started at 8. Overall a very mediocre experience.

Short stay for a beach trip. Great location and convenient for the beach. The room is nothing fancy but certainly comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly and the pool was very nice. Having a kitchenette was very convenient for having my granddaughter with me. Would gladly stay again.

Upon my arrival, there was no one at the front desk to complete my check-in, and my phone calls to the property went unanswered. Furthermore, there was no parking available. Due to these circumstances, I had no choice but to find alternative accommodations for the night. Despite being unable to stay, my credit card was still charged. The property as shown on online is not where you check in, have breakfast or use the pool, instead it is 2 houses down. In the main house which is unlocked and unattended there is no one to ask questions or request anything should you need it. No phone in the room to call down. When we first arrived there is a sign stating to walk down 2 houses to be checked in. The gentleman who greeted us looked and acted bothered by us being there and by the questions we asked. especially since we were surprised that things were not located at the house we booked at. The pictures online are very misleading. No where does it state that the property is 1 of 3 buildings. The suite we stayed in was very spacious, however very dirty. stains on the carpets and furniture. The sheets had stains on them (it was around 7pm when we realized this. as mentioned above, no phone to call or was given a number to call in case we needed anything) The description states the suite was air conditioned. 1 of the 2 bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning. The 2nd bedroom did not. Thankfully we were not there when it was extremely hot or it would have been miserable to sleep since the suite is on the 3rd floor. Location was nice. only approx a 6 min walk to the pier. Breakfast in the morning was nice, but could use better organization to run more efficiently. Poor girl was doing it all herself. Overall, I would definitely not recommend due to lack of cleanliness & hospitality.

Too noisy, very close to main intersection with motorcycles racing all night right outside our window. Check in was terrible, very confusing, found a note to go two houses down to check in. Walked there, found a note they were on break. Waited over 30 minutes, another guest was also waiting with me. Our husbands were staying by the car since there was no parking places left. Many cars evidently park there and go to the beach all day. Dining options were very limited. Breakfast was not too good, similar to a cheap hotel, ran out of food, totally was not what we expected for the price. Only a few TV channels. Would not recommend.

Beautiful and charming place to stay. We are so glad to have stumbled across this gem! The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. It was in a great location and we were able to park right by our room. Absolutely loved everything about it!
