Loved the property and location and views. Prices at lounge and restaurant were reasonable. No AC or Tv in rooms but were comfortable and enjoyed not having the distraction. Noise was a bit of a problem but not at quiet times. All good.

Beautiful grounds, location and view is amazing. Quaint / small queen room with a more antique vibe. Did not eat on site but enjoyed continental breakfast muffins and coffee and cocktails from the bar. Very clean and the staff friendly. We were there at the shoulder season and there was plenty of seating at the pool, on the porches etc. Very dog friendly and most, if not all were well behaved. There are no TVs or AC in the main building but the windows open and there was a ceiling fan as well as a nice oscillating fan in the closet to use. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed here years ago and they made everyone feel at home. I couldn’t wait to bring my husband to experience the wonderful first time I had there. It was definitely a letdown. This time it felt very cold. If we wanted breakfast we had to pay or go somewhere. The “pastries” as they called them with the coffee did not seem fresh. They were muffins which is a bread not a pastry. The rooms definitely need decor updates. Some wallpaper was starting to peel. The old charm of the building is there, but freshen the poor old building up. It’s been 20 years since I was there and the wallpaper looks like it’s been there for 50. I love wallpaper, but give the building a little care and freshen it up.

They weren’t accommodating to checking in a bit early. Room was small and floor was slippery. There was no tv in the room. Muffins were not good. Many staff members were nice but management messed up when they send the housekeeping lovely lady in twice when we wanted the room. The pool was lovely. All in all -just ok

Hotel was very clean and friendly, staff is spectacular, Alex the concierge was remarkable. Would definitely recommend this location. Only down fall was there are no television sets in the rooms which is good in a way.
