We have stayed here every year for the past 13 years for the Tip Up Town weekend. and sadly this year things were much different and lacking the things that had us coming back. Check in was difficult and lengthy and were told it was because it was booked on Expedia. We utilized our pull out sofa bed for our guest, and were told they may not have enough blankets for everyone because the hotel was packed? The restaurant did not have their usual license to serve adult cocktails with our dinner and were told maybe by Monday it would be restored? The pool was extremely cold( in respect it was cold outside) and my son fell walking in the pool area because we were told they just resurfaced the floor and painted and didn't do the floor” right” to provide some traction. The arcade had many things that didn’t work or would take your money. There were crackers and plastic knives under our couch in our room so that leads me to believe that they did not strip the sheet off of the sofa prior or they would have seen the debris. The morning breakfast was nothing like it used to be and was lacking almost everything by 9 am other than you make waffles. When we asked for some milk( available every year) we were told they ran out yesterday? Generally I don’t write reviews, so maybe this will help management make some improvements to encourage people to return to their hotel and help get it back up to where it used to be. Positives would include comfortable bed and location. Thank you

The heat went out in our room. The heater was making a loud noise and blew freezing air into the room. It was so cold. We've been going there every year for many years, we've never had an experience like this until now.

I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised a newly renovated pool, as swimming was the main reason for our stay with kids. Upon arrival, we discovered the pool was closed. This information was not disclosed prior to check-in, which was extremely disappointing and felt misleading, as the pool was the primary amenity we were looking forward to. Beyond that, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The beds are extremely saggy and clearly well past their usable life. The floors are uneven and pose a noticeable tripping hazard. Paint is peeling on the walls, and the adjoining room doors do not feel secure, which was concerning. Overall, the hotel is in poor condition and did not deliver on the amenities that influenced our booking. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again—especially for families.

For a hotel that costs what it does it would have been nice if the microwave worked and the remote to the TV. The staff that was tending to the Continental breakfast was not friendly to myself or my children. They had no cereal or milk for the breakfast. The pool smelled like someone was smoking in the pool area.

Power and water went out which took down Direct TV and WiFi. Front desk wouldn’t answer phone. Went to go to front desk, and hall was completely dark. Used light on my phone to go to desk and was treated rudely for asking questions.

The bath tub needed scrubbed. It was black from being used over the years. There were big spiders in the corners of the ceilings. The balcony was covered with dead insects and spider webs and the cleaning people came and remade our bed and when we returned to our room in the evening our door was open.
