It’s a beautiful lodge next to the lake, you get to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake at sunset. The room was a bit dusty but no big deal for us. The restaurant was amazing, we had breakfast and dinner and it was very good, bit expensive but worth it. All the staff were very nice. You only get 30 minutes of WiFi per day!!, but we loved that, you get to be present and fully enjoy your time. Many hiking trails near by with a beautiful waterfall. The lobby is extremely cozy, with many board games and a huge fireplace; since you can’t use your phone, we went to read there and relax, it was full.

The location is excellent but it does not deserve the price as Internet is not available as there is some issue but even if available it’s 30 minutes free then $16 for 5 GB which is too much when you pay 200 USD for room in woods. There is no basic things like Microwave TV in room and rooms are too small and you have to pay separately for breakfast which was informed prior to booking and acceptable but internet and basic amenities availability in rooms in major concern and don’t know how they are running conference rooms and meeting rooms without internet as it seems it’s daily issue rather than for one day so honest opinion is not worth of 200 USD . They provided one coffee maker in room but you need to Roam around to find electric socket for it which is quite funny as coffee maker location does not have electric socket. So not worth to spend 200 and better to go to Fork or Aberdeen as driving is not an issue even for 30-40 extra miles

Room was described as an ADA room but ended up being on the third floor and no elevator. Pushing a wheel chair up and down three floors on ramps and wasn’t enjoyable. Also, no breakfast options and doors to lodge were not wheel chair friendly- needed assistance to hold doors while passing through. Old lodge is cool and lake is beautiful but we won’t be back to stay.

Wasn’t ready for check-in until almost 5pm. Rude front desk staff and inattentive. Extremely noisy people in the room above us without a phone to call the front desk in the room. Kids jumping on the ground from the bed at 11pm and couldn’t sleep and couldn’t call the front desk. No internet. No phone service.

It was a one of a kind, family friendly perfect getaway. The only complaint was from the restaurant. Last night our server was slow. This morning we waited forever just for drinks. The place was dead. Excellent service should come with the luxary prices you are paying.
