We Froze! No adequate heat source.
Basically no heat in our room from an old radiator heat source. Got down to 62 degrees. We froze. No phone in room to call desk.
This is a great place for outdoor activities and being in nature. With that being said, there’s not much food around to be have in an 40 min drive radius. There is a restaurant with in the hotel but it wasn’t that great. There is an older staff member with all grey hair that was completely rude so please beware of her.
The "Great Room" is what makes this almost 100 year old property. The age of the property is reflected in the size of the rooms which are small. Be prepared for no TV and a charge for continuous use of the internet.
I've stopped by the Lake Quinault lodge either for lunch or to stay overnight 3-4 times over the past 30 years. I always enjoy the ambiance and am very appreciative of the National Park. This time we had the pot roast in the Roosevelt room -- it was exceptional! And I stayed in a room in the lodge with a fireplace-- cozy!
Had a great one night stay despite the rainy weather. Enjoyed the great room, pool and game room. Luckily had a nice Sunday morning to explore the area a bit. Will definitely be back for a longer visit.

So so hotel view excellent.
The hotel is dated and could do with being brought into modern times.(New towel would go a long way)
For the price you pay it’s all based on the view.
Internet should be included in cost for the price.
Room was heated by a small electric heater.
The food at dinner was not great.
I had the ravioli with no sauce and burnt ends of bacon not edible.
Breakfast was much better.
Go for the view and area.
I was never told there isn't heat in the Lake House rooms. It was super cold. Even with the tiny little portable heater in the room? The hair dryer wasn't working properly and our lake view, well, it was tree trunks, we couldn't see the lake.
