Don’t stay here now.

The bed was a sway back. I kept rolling toward the middle which was a problem because I had to get up every 20 minutes to stuff the sheet back in. The breakfast was a joke. If you can’t find any place else to stay, this might be for you.

Pool is permanently closed. The room was average and okay. It was the front desk clerk that made the experience so bad. She was rude and condescending. Wouldn’t revisit because of this. The hotel itself seemed fine if you aren’t planning to enjoy swimming or customer service.

Great and quick checkin....room was ready eventhough we got there 3 hours early. Hotel still in middle of renovation, but our room had already been completed...and done extremely well. Wonderful amenities and furnishings.

The lobby has a lot of potential. It is very quiet. The rooms could use an upgrade for more relaxing space. There wasn’t a phone in the bedroom, and the tv was too small to see from the bed. The products in the bathroom are very cheap and harsh on the hair and skin, opting for paraben/phalates/silicone free products would make the experience nicer

Under Construction

The front desk person was extremely nice each interaction. I was taken back when right before I was getting ready to sign that she stated the pool was out and the hotel was under construction. I wish it would have said that before I booked. My son was there for a baseball tournament we chose this hotel for location, pool, and breakfast. The breakfast choices we weak at best due to once again the hotel being under construction for 2 YEARS.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean but the hotel was under renovation so not all aspects of the hotel were open……. Even with the construction the rooms were clean. The windows did leak in the rain but they had not been replaced yet. I would stay there again regardless.

REMODEL

Staff were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was the problem. Now, keep in mind they are in the middle of a remodel so that definently plays a factor in this review. The pool was closed which neither the hotels website or Hotels.com website mentions. It also says they have a bar and complimentary continental breakfast. The bar wasnt open, not sure why and the "breakfast" was a choice of cereal, bagels, or Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches. There is an amazing bbq joint literally across the street. Riverside bbq and Thyme square about 5 minutes away had AMAZING breakfast. All that being said we were only in town one night and the room was quiet and clean.

This hotel is currently in the midst of renovations to becoming a Doubletree. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Most disappointing is that due to this, the pool was closed. We got an atrium room and ended up on the first room of the floor with a horrible view. We were able to get the room changed that had a better view of the atrium. Breakfast was not a hot breakfast. Bagels, muffins, yogurt. Average hotel but clean with a friendly staff. Remodeled rooms look very nice but may raise prices.
