Not sure how this hotel has such a high review, maybe they are all from the 80s and 90s. The entire hotel is dated, from the entryway to the rooms. My room smelled stale and bed was not comfortable. I had two queen beds, even though I booked a king, and one of the beds had hair on it. The linen included the thinnest sheet I’ve ever seen and a weird blanket/comforter thing. The shower was a blue I haven’t seen for 30 years and the ceiling was super low. The toilet seat was complete worn. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this place is top three of the worst places I’ve stayed. I should have looked at the google reviews before booking.

I liked the location and polite staff. The yowels were frayed, the mattress liner had dry blood on it, the light bulb beside the bed was burned out and if we needed more than 4 towels all we could have were pool towels. You have to pay 10 dollars extra if you want to use the pool. Its an outdoor pool and I have never paid extra anyplace else. I won't stay here again!

Nice place with surprises

When booking, realize that you will be charged $10/night for a "business"/"resort" fee in addition to the price listed on Hotels.com. Also, the front door is locked at roughly 6:00pm and the side doors you may use your room key to enter the property up until 9:00pm. So, if you have late evening plans, this may be an issue for you as it was for me. Overall, the room was clean and well tended by the housekeeping staff. But, there were the 2 unexpected surprises that earned it a 4 instead of 5 star review.
