This was the best hotel we stayed at in our 2 week trip. It was incredibly expensive, though $100 cheaper than going through the hotel itself. The water park was really cool, and our 14 year old boys loved it. The room was spacious and cool, with ample room to move. I was really pleased with the size, to be honest, as it was probably double a normal room in another hotel. The carpet was sticky in places, and that was gross. The door knob to the bathroom fell off, and I had to put it back on. And I’m sure the showers are meant to look classy, but they are completely ridiculous and impractical, and you get water everywhere. That being said, it was worth it for the water park. Important to note: the water park is a HAUL from your room. Prepare for a hike.

The room was disgusting, dirty clothes left on floor of closet from previous guest, dirty sbot rag with blood under pillow on bed from previous guest, old food caked on cabinets and walls of kitchen area, half the lights burnt out. No shampoo or bodywas in bottles. Been better off staying at a 50 uear old motel.

Our stay was great, the room was very clean, supplies stocked and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative comments about our stay: Shower design caused a lot of water to pool on the bathroom floor, and the rug was soaked. Also they need more luggage carts for the amount of visitors.

Be aware that the hotel does not stick to the agreed upon price and will not correct it. They also did not mention that housekeeping is by request only and that there is no longer a manager’s reception despite it being advertised on the website. I had to ask about when breakfast was and about water park access. It would have been nice to be told those things at check in. The coffee and tea in the afternoon was cold (clearly just left over from breakfast). Both the clerk and manager were quite rude about the discrepancy in the price. For the price point I expected more.

Found a shirt left in our room along with the entertainment center covered in dust, food still on silverware, left our receipt partially under the door with personal information(also seeing many others in front of doors on floors), housekeepers were the friendliest staff, front desk staff were snooty. If you can get over that overall the stay was very nice. Even the walk to the water park was nice not having to go outside.

Good rooms had 2 queens and pull out and kitchen . Pull out is fine for a kid but isnt very comfy . Room smell weird but maybe was from previous guests not sure like a wood or food smell but room was very clean and works good .water park is great and accessible from the hotel thru a connecetion hallway and is secure safe place . Rapid city itself is nice town and lots of food options . water park food is good and good bars in it and decent prices . My kids rate it 10/10 i rate it 9/10 overall . I will return !
