We loved being right on the Navesink River. Our room had a beautiful view and was spacious. Our bed was cozy with lots of pillows. Parking and check-in were very easy and staff pleasant. A very nice stat!

Noisy next door guests and unprofessional staff

While the hotel overall is in a great location and the room was clean, my experience was completely ruined by how a serious noise issue was handled. Around 11 PM, the guests in the room next to ours started blasting dance music and having what sounded like a full-on party—loud talking and music non-stop. It was completely unacceptable at that hour. I called the front desk, but the staff member on duty told me he was new and didn’t know what to do. He said he had to contact his manager, which delayed any real action. My husband eventually had to find the security guard and ask him to come up and listen so he could confirm the noise was coming from next door. Only then did they finally do something, and the music stopped. The whole ordeal took about an hour before we could get any peace and go to sleep. I’m shocked that the hotel allows guests to behave like this and even more disappointed in the front desk staff’s complete lack of professionalism and urgency. This experience left a very bad impression, and I won’t be returning.
