When we walked in to our room, the musty sent is what struck us. No matter how the air conditioner was set, we could not get the damp, musty sent and feel out of the room. I swam on the first day, and 3 days later, my swimsuit was still soaking wet! In the pool area, the pool was great, but the hot tub's jets weren't working and the sauna did not work at all. We were there because our mom was in the hospital, and they did give us a discount which was great, but, our room wasn't cleaned until the 4th night we were there. The breakfast was just kind of meh. Powdered eggs, sausage, make your own waffles if there was batter, white bread, bagels, cereal, mini-muffins, apples and oranges. The coffee was pretty good, and there was a selection of teas.

Although the facility was okay, we asked on the third day if we could have room service-towels, coffee, etc.. When we arrived back at the hotel, coffee packets were tossed on the desk not in the basket provided. Garbage bins which were quite full, were not emptied. We told the front desk and they said they hire young people during the summer and that’s how kids do their job. He apologized and said he would comp on day’s fees. We appreciated that.

My check in process was quick. The front desk staff was kind and engaging. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. I was right across from the ice machine and I was worried I would hear it being used all night. The rooms are very well sound proofed. Highly recommend this property.

My room wasn’t ready until after 5:30 PM, I wasn’t told there was parking around the back of the hotel which was much closer to My room. Toilet needed 2 flushes for even toilet paper to flush. Biggest issue was the room phone didn’t work - when I tried to to contact the front desk by using the “0” Button as per instructions on phone I Kept getting a busy signal. If I had an emergency there was no way I could have contacted anyone to get help. This could have been a liability issue. I reported this the next morning and that night and nothing was done. I also asked that the manager contact me and when I finally Was able to Meet with him he had never received any messages about my issues inspite of 5 contacts I made from 10:00 PM on 7/13/25 to 7/15/25 at 10;30 AM. Once I met with the manager he was very concerned and accommodating. I asked if for a late check out the day before but that was not communicated to the house keeping staff. Also the WIFI wouldn’t stay connected. Great breakfast with a good variety of selections. Room was great sized

Black slimy mold came out of the whirlpool when I turned on the water. I used a towel to wipe it off and showed the photos to the attendant when we checked out. The hotel is dated but has potential to be much better. No napkins at the breakfast area and when I asked I was told they simply just ran out? Strange but ok.. I deleted the photos after I spoke to the attendant but wish I'd kept them to show here. It was pretty gross.
