The cabin was clean and comfortable. Perfect size for 2 people. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having our coffee and watching the sunrise. It was very peaceful. The host was very prompt with responding to my questions and check in and out were easy.

The Turtle Cottage is so charming and comfortable, and is very private away from the other cottages. Thoughtful accomodations and great location near Rice Lake and trails for hiking or biking.

Can't wait to return!

The property has everything you need to feel right at home! Great separation from other cottages. It's on a lake and has a pontoon for rental. Owners are awesome. We'll definitely return.

Incredible

Not only was the cottage of wonderful ambience, it was clean and truly emanated love. The location was very convenient, but still far enough into the wooded areas that you felt secluded. The biggest impact was the pure respect and friendliness of Ted and Lori, the owners. It was an experience I would never take back and highly recommend for anyone looking to get away. We are about to book next years getaway!

Cute retreat

We have stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back. The Turtle Cottage is so cozy and has everything you need including an incredible view. Great location and the hosts are terrific!

Turtle Lodge Stay

This is the 2nd time staying at this location. Always very clean and very cute. Is nicer in person then pictures look like online. Only thing is bed was a little hard for our liking. Overal another great experience here at a great price!

my fiancé and i celebrated my birthday at the turtle cottage, and i couldn’t ask for a better stay. the area was beautiful, the cabin was so homey, and the people around were so friendly. a home away from home. highly highly recommend!! thanks ted and lori!!!

Wonderful!

Happy New Year

My husband and I had our first trip away since our honeymoon in July. We wanted to ring in the new year with something special. The Turtle Cottage did not dissapoint! We enjoyed reading, playing board games, reading and watching movies by the fire. The Cottage is perfect for a quick and quiet get away. The bed was extremely comfortable. We used the kitchen to make dinner and had everything we needed. The bathroom was full of everything we needed. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake a bit more! Thank you!

Perfect place!

From the moment you step inside you will be greeted with a warm and cozy vibe. This place was perfect for a little getaway with my best friend from college. We enjoyed the decor, wandering the trails on the property, cooking and playing games. The kitchen was perfect for a few meals and the bed was super comfy. We loved all the lights around the inside of the Turtle Cottage. Would love to return with my husband and show him how darling this little place was. Thanks for sharing this place with us!!

A lovely fall getsway

The Turtle is nice cottage with an excellent view. My wife and I came to stay for a week prior to a family wedding. I regularly work in the area and it was nice to go home to her in the evening. The Turtle has excellent amenities and is very well maintained. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again.

Perfect Retreat

The cottage was more adorable than the pictures can capture! It had everything that I needed for a home away from home. The natural light by the table was perfect for painting & journaling, and the paths through the woods were nicely groomed with chairs by the lake for quiet time in nature. It was nice to get back to the cottage for tea by Bristene and Grandpa's fireplace. A perfect autumn retreat!

Turtle Cottage for the SLOW DOWN!

We Just spent the weekend at Stone Havens' Turtle Cottage. An Adorable Little Cottage In Rice Lake Wisconsin.Only 2.5 Miles from town but so far away. A place to unwind from the hustle and Bustle of everyday life. So very quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed for our get away.

What a cute, cozy little cabin! My daughter and I enjoyed our girls' getaway. The trails were well cared for, the firepit was stocked with wood, and the cottage had everything we needed well labeled and easy to find.
