It was an ok stay…

Had one roll of toilet paper, kids asked front desk to swap out towels after using 2 at the pool. They were told there were enough towels in the room. Hair dryer was burnt & melted, room phone and alarm clock did not work. We found an old Whataburger Apple pie in the dresser drawer. Pull out bed was extremely filthy.

First off - it was perfect for what I needed. A short trip to see Starship only requires a crash pad for the nighttime hours and this fulfilled that need perfectly. Cheap, simple and covers the bases. What it lacks in fancy spaces, it makes up for in spaciousness. Couldn't believe how much room I got for $65/night - living room, kitchen, dining nook, bedroom, bathroom and closet. Fantastic for a traveling photographer. Tons of parking so the car was right in front of my room. And H-E-B right down the street? Yes, please. Front desk manager was dry and to the point, but quick and effective at remedying any issues. Custodial staff was friendly and showed up with extra blankets and a smile. If you just need something basic to get you through a couple of nights while you're out adventuring, this is perfect!
