I stay at LaQuinta whenever possible. A friend who was traveling with me had never stayed at one until this last trip. I had always commented about how nice and comfortable they are and especially the beds at LaQuinta. She was pleasantly impressed with the beds and has become a lover of LaQuinta!

This property is well maintained, with friendly and professional staff, a good location in terms of highway access, and easy access to a local college town with decent restaurants. Salem is a picturesque place, nestled in the Virginia mountains, If you have time to explore, it's quite lovely with historical sites as well.

The inside smell was not great. Sate area and safe parking. Easy check in. It was quite loud with lots of hallway noise. Breakfast was clean and adequate. It was just OK. Comfort, smell, and noise were my complaints. The rest was good.

A great night at a great price

From check in to check out it was a great experience. They have a very good pre-check in that we were able to do online the day before, that made actual arrival at the hotel a breeze. We got in very late so it was nice to just walk in. The room was great, spacious and modern. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was hot with great pressure. Breakfast was great and everything was fully stocked. The employees were very attentive and made sure that everything was taken care of. Would absolutely stay there again.
