How Expedia could ever recommend staying at the Clarion Inn in Roswell is mind blowing. The first room had no working lamp, trash was found laying on the floor by the bed. And, the refrigerator had not been turned back on resulting in water running out onto the floor and our feet when we opened the door. After changing rooms, we fell into bed exhausted. Upon showering in the morning we discovered what appeared to be "black mold" on the ceiling while taking a shower! We checked out immediately; even though we were booked for a second night's stay. They refused a refund because we booked through Expedia. How do you request a refund from Expedia?

Property is run down but looks like it has potential with experienced maintenance. Poorly ran wires in main hallway look like temporary garbage. A sharp maintenance team could turn this into a great place. But looks like it is slipping into a maintenance issue

No toilet paper in lobby bathroom. Breakfast was a joke. Waffles but no syrup. Sausage w gravy but no biscuts or bread. No yogurt or fruit. Only orange juice lemonade and coffee and milk for cereal. Room was not up to what I expext of Clarion standards. Chipped paint in bathroom, door slammed, key card didn't work well.

One of the chairs had no seat cover and there was a weird smell in the room. Suspected bed bugs. Window was broken. Outside that window looked rundown and unkept. Felt very unsafe but I was so tired. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Upon arrival seedy people loitering out side-homeless people everywhere-lobby was hot a/c not working-restroom had no toilet paper-men’s room out of order-broken hotel window near room we were given-never staying here-we got no refund! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

We had a late check in, read reviews saying this place was great, first room didn’t have ac had to walk all the way down the hall to the stairs because they don’t have elevators down to the first floor to switch rooms go allllll the way back up then to find out the second room had carbon monoxide detector going off, breakfast barely had anything if you’re booking this place for free breakfast hard pass , the front desk employees were polite but that’s about it 😭 I hate leaving reviews like this but my experience was not good at all

Hot Tub Not working, swimming Pool to cold for comfort, ceiling in Pool Area was full of MOLD,, furniture in Room was pretty beat up,, most hallways hadn’t been Vacuumed carpet holes patched with Black tape,,exterior door were propped open allowing admission to hotel by any passersby, bathroom in room ceiling was deteriorating badly! Will not be Returning

It’s OK. For the price you can’t expect better. The attendant does not give any info or instructions upon checking in such as where to go to find our room, towels for pool, amenities, breakfast times, etc. we found our room, it was a pretty decent size. Beds were clean. The bathroom tub was kind of dirty and the water does not drain well. You’re literally showering in water covering your feet. We only had 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people. The pool area is dirty. There were pizza boxes and beer cans left on tables, used towels on the floor and the water itself had some bugs in it. We did not have breakfast there so I can’t say.
