We had a great stay at Best Western on the River. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We wish the bed was a bit softer but managed to sleep anyway. It was a very convenient location to the Mark Twain boyhood home and museum.

The closest to Twain's boyhood home. Nice pool, okay hot tub, easy in and out, good breakfast, good front desk folks. Design of foyer does make for noise to reach rooms from pool and meeting area much louder, but not bad. Annex to the south and across the street has an outdoor pool. You should ask for a room in the main building if you want to use the indoor pool and hot tub and don't want to walk outside.

There was some damages to the dresser in our room and the shower head sprayed everywhere soaking the floor. The room at the side our heads laid at was an employee only closet/room and whatever was in there made a very, very loud banging noise through out the night. As well as the noise echoing from guests that came in late. It made for a very sleepless night. But the employees were kind, pool was amazing. Wasn't really cold. And breakfast was pretty good as well.

Although small area for parking it worked well for me. Across the street is a small eatery and just a block or two are other choices, I was able to walk to the river and back easily, lots of old town shops to capture the curiosity. Including sightseeing about Mark Twain and such. Friendly staff pleasant stay

I liked the property itself and the room was fine. I did have trouble getting the shades completely shut, and the light pollution impeded my sleep. There were a lot of loud vehicles in the nearby neighborhood as well.

Historic Mark Twain area and close to the Mississippi great sites to see on a nice walk around the area. Had lunch at Finn’s it was great food and tge Java jive for dessert amazing
