I didn’t end up staying because the room was reeking of smoke and the adjacent neighbors were noisy. The manager(s) guy and girl we’re trying to be accommodating but ultimately understood that I desired a refund and would book at another hotel which I did; so this is not a reflection on them but OXO hotel and customer service has been absolutely one of the worst to deal with and I have yet to see my refund. I called a week ago and they were going to review and escalate my concern as I did not stay there and had yet to see my refund. She said I should expect an email but I never received. Then I called back today to a very rude woman which cut me off when I was trying to confirm numbers and relay information back to her and she ultimately disconnected or hung up on me. I got through with another gentleman that told me my refund was DENIED which I told him that that’s completely uncalled for and the worse customer service I’ve ever dealt with since I didn’t stay in the room at all and had been promised a refund. I still feel like I’m getting the run around as I asked him next steps and he once again said that I’d be getting an email and I asked him to confirm the email he had since that’s what they mentioned last time. There was some language barrier theory so I didn’t hear his exact response but then he asked for my email (so I’m glad I persisted). Utilizing this to get someone’s attention to help resolve this issue, and warn everyone to stay away.
