Good but busy

The room was great but we tried to go swim and there were no towels and the breakfast stuff was pretty ran through and empty by the time we got there. They could also use some more help and seating for breakfast since it was packed. The Tv's also said you could cast your phone to it but it wasn't connected to the internet so you actually couldn't.

Probably the most disappointing stay we've ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. Everything just seemed a little run down. Breakfast was very underwhelming, even for a hotel breakfast. We had to go ask for the lights to be turned on in the pool area (it was open but it was getting dark outside). The paint on the floor around the pool was peeling. Piles of it were laying around and it stuck to our feet. The hot tub was also peeling.

Nice area, staff is very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. The only problem I had was the satellite cable tv. I would be watching a show and all of a sudden it would get distorted or go out all together. But, that's my only complaint, nothing major.

Not the Holiday Inn Express You Would Expect

Positive: Spacious and Well Equipped Room Negative: Cigarette butts littering entrance, elevator not vacuumed during stay, guy at front desk knew zero English, smelled dingy, water pipes really loud when water was running, external noise really loud from cars and motorcycles racing on interstate, don't come for free breakfast. This Holiday Inn Express was off brand.

Good but missing the small touches

The hotel was good, but breakfast was nearly cleaned out by the time we got there. They were out of pancakes and milk, yogurt, etc. and wouldn’t bring any more out.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. I do like the renovation, it is very nice. The complimentary breakfast has a variety to suite everyone. I will definitely stay here again as I always do.
