Longing to get away from it all? Can't stop stalking hashtags like #BeautifulDestinations? Then book a flight to Samford Valley and take a journey through the seriously gorgeous beaches, rainforest, tablelands and desert landscapes of Queensland.

The nation's capital city, Canberra, can be found about 950 kilometres to the south of Samford Valley.

In terms of attractions, Balmoral is jam-packed. Situated 20 kilometres to the southeast, here you'll find Queen Street Mall, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and Roma Street Parkland.

Sitting 90 kilometres to the southeast, Surfers Paradise Beach is a terrific spot to spend a bit of time relaxing by the seaside. Kings Beach also offers visitors some gorgeous scenery. You'll find this piece of coastline 70 kilometres to the southeast.

It's no secret that getting outside is good for us. Keeping that in mind, why wouldn't you venture 20 kilometres out of Samford Valley to Kangaroo Point Cliffs? Glasshouse Mountains National Park, 50 kilometres away, is another excellent option.

Big fan of soccer? Then slip into some orange and black and see the Brisbane Roar in action at Suncorp Stadium. Located 17 kilometres away in Brisbane City, the venue is also the home of the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Reds and often hosts live concerts.

There's also the Samford Distric Historical Museum. It's an excellent place to check out if you've got some time to spare.
