We stayed three nights. Our room was spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is lovely and the food was great (a must is the Navajo Fry Bread!). But the staff were the most wonderful part of our experience. Special thanks to Tracy in the restaurant and Jorge in the bar for their excellent service.

We had not been to the Plaza since after the renovations, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The entire facility got a facelift and it is quite a unique and magnificent gem of a hotel. We came from out of town for a weekend of relaxation and this hotel does not disappoint. The gardens are beautiful and bursting with color. The food was excellent and we slept peacefully with minimal noise. The staff went by out of their way to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to Riverwalk and the Alamo. The onsite restaurant was very good also. It was a nice option when we were too tired to walk to eat !

We came to the Plaza for a quick one night birthday getaway and were so pleased with our whole experience. It was an Oasis and felt like we were at a destination resort. It was the perfect place to go and get away from everything. Very relaxing- wonderful attentive staff- fun atmosphere- delicious food- beautiful facilities. I highly recommend!

Hotel & Restaurant Review

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, and the pool was great—definitely a highlight of our trip. As for the hotel restaurant, the ambiance was nice and the servers were friendly, which we appreciated. However, the wait times for food were extremely long. We dined there three times during our stay, and each time we waited at least an hour for our meals. This might be understandable if the restaurant had been busy, but there were never more than two parties dining at the same time. We hope management takes a look at this, as it really impacted the dining experience. Aside from that, we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful! Modern, chic and clean. The front desk staff was so kind and welcoming. The negative things I’d have to say is in the restaurant off the lobby took over 30min to get you food and for the prices it was marginal. Service was not great. Also valet on a Saturday evening was packed and it took 30 min to get your car. I think better staffing and systems could fix that. The gentleman working valet were very nice and apologized for how long it took. Valet was expensive I thought. Overall I’d be back, a great location. We loved renting the bikes!

It was such a beautiful stay! The hotel was absolutely stunning and extremely clean. The elegance and charm make it look like something out of a movie! Definitely coming back! Service is top notch as well! Didn't get to use the complimentary voucher provided but it was such a nice gesture!

I stayed here with my family. We had two pre-teen boys and it was a great experience for all ages. The staff were amazing. My server out at the pool bar, Jessica was a true gem all weekend and the spa experience was a 10/10. We will be back!
