This 3200 sq.ft.open floor plan home show cases large picturesque windows throughout. A cooks delight, the gourmet kitchen provides a large prep island with stainless steel appliances, The cozy living room with wood burning kiva fireplace, baby grand piano is great for relaxing and enjoying company. In good weather the large walk out covered patio with wood burning fireplace and gas barbecue is perfect for entertaining or just having some quiet time. After a day of skiing, shopping, or site seeing, have a soak in the hot tub with a view of mountains in the day and stars at night. The master suite is equipped with a large steam sauna and free standing soaking tub for your enjoyment. Each bedroom has it's own on suite bathroom. For extra guests we have a study with a fold out couch and 2 roll away beds available as well. Guests will have use of the large garage equipped with a ping pong table. We are located on a quiet culdesac on 5 acres with ample parking. During the winter this property can provide some nice sledding or snow shoeing. We are located just 10 minutes from the historic square and have easy highway access. We believe you will enjoy the special magic that Casa Colibri provides.

The house is beautiful inside and out. Surrounded by New Mexico's natural landscape, the house is well appointed inside as well! We had everything we needed, and all just an easy drive from Santa Fe's plaza.

We stayed here with our two boys over Christmas. The location couldn’t be better. 10 min to plaza but you feel a million miles away. The views are breathtaking. The home was beyond stocked and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a fire every night and chose to stay in them go out. A true resort

This house was absolutely gorgeous. It looks just like the pictures, but better. Our family of four stayed for a week. Our kids in their 20s had one "wing" of the house and we had the other. The house was spotless, the view incredible, hot tub was lovely and the house was incredibly well stocked. We didn't need to run out for any extras (which usually happens with a vrbo). The house is about 20 minutes outside of town so you can't walk to any stores but the sense of nature and privacy is worth it. Also, Bob, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He was so nice and went above and beyond on a few things. You'll be incredibly pleased if you rent this housel Thank you for making it available!

Enchanting

Wonderful home with great views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. Very quiet and peaceful for a relaxing stay. It is remote enough for tranquility but close enough to Santa Fe to get to restaurants and shopping writhin 15 to 20 minutes. We felt that it was perfectly situated. Beautiful Home, Wonderful Stay

Spent Christmas at Casa Colibri and it was wonderul! The owners had the inside and outside of home decorated so festively. The view is amazing. The owners had supplied everything we could have ever needed, Christmas tree and decor throughout the house, Christmas dishes & mugs, tons of herbs & spices and coffee in the kitchen, lots of big beach towels for the hot tub, etc. The bedrooms were large and inviting, the piano was fun, the wood burning fireplace was fantastic! Again, the large windows with the views of the mountains was amazing. Could have stayed forever! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

A very special place!

A good friend who lives in Santa Fe says it best, after our dinner on the gorgeous terrace: "I truly never sat anywhere in Santa Fe in the past 20+ years that was as breathtakingly beautiful as your VRBO home." Another review remarks that the pictures don't do the house justice, and we agree, the sense of space inside and out just can't be captured in photos. We were there for a week of record breaking heat (100F), but in the shade on the porch the lovely breeze made sitting outside comfortable almost all the time. The 100 mile/180 degree vista is stunning, the furnishings and artwork and architecture are, too. Master suite is a wonderful apartment by itself, two separate bedroom wings provide a lot of privacy. It seems much larger than it it. Location is away from town, with scenic drives to get there (and to the opera) in 15 minutes, and markets and restaurants deliver. Host Bob Gonzalez was very helpful in every way. It was well worth our trips from Seattle and Philadelphia.

Mountain views 360 degrees! Stunning Santa Fe experience

This home will inspire those with exceptional taste and high end expectations! Thank you Bob and Family for being gracious hosts in your amazing home complete with: steam shower at master, victoria albert tub at master, hot tub with views of stars and mountains, grills, spacious open concept gourmet kitchen and wall of windows everywhere to see the breath-taking views of all mountains, game room at garage for kids, not to mention my yukon denali XL with luggage racks and trailer fit in the huge 3 car garage, only 5-10 miles from plaza and only 30-45 min to ski santa fe! This home will not disappoint, we will be back!

Stunning home

This is a beautiful home with incredible views from walls of windows. The kitchen is well equipped and all 3 bedrooms are en suite. It was a little too cool to enjoy the large deck, but the hot tub was nice.

Incredible Stay in Santa Fe

My husband and I brought both of our moms to Santa Fe as a joint 75th Birthday present. Bob’s beautiful home was the perfect setting for our celebration. Plenty of room for all of us to have our own space with 3 immaculate bedrooms and baths. The center living space and kitchen allowed us to gather and connect (we even cancelled dinner plans one evening and cooked in because the kitchen area was so inviting). We had fun with the ping pong in the garage, soaked under the stars in the hot tub, napped in front of the fire place, and gazed repeatably at the breathtaking view along the outdoor patio. The furnishings, linens, kitchen supplies, bath products were all thoughtful and high end. We appreciated being slightly away from the busy-ness of downtown Santa Fe (that said, pretty much everything from restaurants to shopping was only a 15 minute drive). We wanted for nothing and are grateful for such a warm and inviting home to have shared such a special time with our mothers. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family Birthday Reunion

This is a gorgeous and well-appointed property! From firewood to bath bombs, laundry supplies to dominos, this lovely home had it all. The expansive views were breathtaking. We had a difficult time pulling ourselves away each day for Santa Fe adventures. Bob was a responsive host, quick to answer questions. We’re already talking about a return visit.
