This hotel is in need of a complete renovation. The lighting is dark and dank, room smelled badly, fixtures were rusty and the elevator was not working. I would not recommend staying there

Carpet was dirty. Socks and feet were soiled didn't get handicap room that we requsted because as we found out elevator hasn't been working for a month. Doors and locks didnt work properly.

Elevators where broken since the last Hurricane. (September) it is Feb 28. Booked a handicap accessible room... that wasn't and the room they gave us was on the 4th floor... again with no elevators. Wyndham should be utterly embarrassed by this facility. Perhaps that is why there is no sign on the street. Negative stars if I could give them. Expedia also said the hotel charge was unrefundable... even when what we booked wasn't available. Never EVER book a hotel through Expedia. EVER!!!! Always go direct. The middleman isn't really interested in your trip, just your money.

La Quinta Inn Sarasota Needs a Renovation ASAP

This is an old hotel that is in desperate need of a renovation. First, the elevator was not working, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Second, the heater was noisy and air quality was stagnant. Third, carpet was very old and needed to be replaced throughout the hotel. Fourth, during Check-In, the hotel computer system was very slow resulting in a long time to get our room key. Fifth, the internet service was very slow. Would not stay in this hotel again.

It smelled horrible and damp when we walked in, the elevators did not work, and reviews have stated repeated issues with bugs and roaches. We didn’t even stay there and found other accommodations.

Expedia NEEDS to update their photos of hotels online. This is the second hotel on my trip that I stayed at that was nothing like what was posted online. Pics online must've been from when it was brand new. The hotel was under renovations (would've been nice to know!), but it didn't seem to be improving it very much. The place was dirty and noisy. Had trouble closing the door to our room due to it being crocked. The mattress to the bed was worn out and uncomfortable. Expedia needs to check these places out more and have current expectations of these properties for customers.

When checking in the Door to the room was inoperable - was given a different room. Incident 1 - an individual was arrested outside premises. Incident 2 - desk agent telling off a patron for their friend banging on their door at 2am and mentioning their tires were slashed. Smell of cigarette smoke permeated the lobby. Ongoing renovations made the space particularly ugly.
