I liked that it was Close to the Casino and Clean Hotel Room. I did not Like: Felt a Little dark at Night. I would Have Liked to see more Lights around there and More Activity as in Concierge.

DO NOT BOOK HERE - STAY AWAY

Front staff super rude because we booked through HOTELS.COM for our handicap room requested. We were told that they don't read the requests from 3rd party booking companies. When we tried to find a reasonable solution, the front desk didn't seem to care and got hostile with us. AS IF that wasn't enough, the rooms were dirty, toenail clipping on the floor,. No elevator

Think about staying here really hard

The lodge is old and in need of repair. The room was not cleaned or dusted. The bathtub was disgusting with what looked like a pubic hair, and it was plain dirty. My sheets on the bed had spots of blood . Front desk sent a young man by the name of Ashton, with clean sheets and pillow cases. He was so nice and apologetic. Staff was great but cleanliness NO

The man who checked me in was rude, every surface in the hotel room was covered in dust, the beds were so stiff, and the pillows are paper thin. Thank goodness this was just for one night.

I would not book this property again. Not the lodge. The casino looked like a better upgrade to stay at. Upon arriving at our room, the room was not locked. Open the door and the couch looked like they’ve just pulled it out of the back alley and put it in the room. The bed was not made all the linens were on the counter. There had been a worker in the room, doing some electrical work on the ceiling and he had not cleaned up after his work. We went up to the front desk and asked if we could switch our reservation up to the casino. And she said because we booked through Expedia and there was no manager on duty at 9 o’clock that night we could not do that. They did give us another room down at the lodge, but we were downgraded to two double beds instead of a queen. The rooms down at the lodge are very basic

There was a ghost in out lodge took my glasses (my only prescription glasses) which had been left on the side table next to the couch and touched my hair and then got attached to me which lead me to go and get a spiritual cleanse I called to see if house keeping had any luck finding them but I haven’t had an answer yet

The Lodge at Cliff Castle is a motel style structure located away from the main hotel and casino. It is outdated with minimal offerings (Queen size beds and a TV), but it was clean and met our needs as we spent the day traveling around the area and not in our room. Though right off I-17, it is not really located near any attractions (Montezuma Castle National Monument and Camp Verde Historic State Park is about it). The Casino has a few restaurants and offers bowling but otherwise no other activities besides gambling.

It was clean, etc., but the furnishings are looking worn; its clear they're concentrated on the casino side. You have to check in at the casino so don't waste your time like we did driving up to the motel lobby. No fridge or microwave, and no room service so if you're too dead tired to fight your way through the casino you're going to go hungry.

This is false advertising. The picture of our stay is not where we stayed. We checked in at the correct hotel only to be pushed down to the "lodge" that was a motel (which felt much more dangerous with a bunch of people living in their RVs illegally in the same parking lot) below the hotel. I would like this escalated as I am going to be seeking our $ back. If I had known what I was purchasing I would have booked something else for me and my elderly mom.
