The sunrise view is lovely. The hot tub was hot and clean. The bed is large and very comfortable. The TVs work well. The pool table/fooseball/arcade games are a bit cramped in there, if it were me I would reduce one of them. The shower is long but narrow, a curved shower bar would help. The outside is steep, but we knew that. The outside door light did not work, there was a busted stove nob on the counter when we got there. There were gnats in the kitchen, had to keep stuff stored in the microwave. We did not cook while there. There were heart winged flies in the bathroom. The dishwasher didn’t smell great. It’s clean from basically eye level down. It could use a good deep cleaning with attention to windowsills and frames. Dead fly on the sill in the bedroom. The location great for us. Overall decent experience.

This property was awesome my wife and i loved the subtleness and our 2 dogs(Nola and Whiskey)enjoyed the outdoor area that was fenced in. Only bad part was cleaning up after them was difficult since it was on a hillside, bit other than that great place for a couples getaway.

Had a great time. Very clean and cozy getaway. The view is spectacular! The Roku is much appreciated. We were very glad to be able bring Leeloo along. A few suggestions that would have made it even better: 1) Eliminate/relocate arcade and foosball tables to reposition/level pool table for open/clear play. A 100% playable pool table is much more enjoyable than 3 overcrowded options. Also, tip-less and warped cue sticks are no good. 2) Relocate the dog run to the level area up top. Present situation is inconvenient at best... dangerous at worst. 3) Install privacy blinds on both sides of the porch. This would enhance the hot tub option. 4) Regularly use insecticide for the area up top. The "no-see-ums" are ferocious and painful.

End of Summee Trip

We had the best time at Hapey Place! My husband & I brought along our 2 children (10 & 14) and our 3 mini dachshunds (Oakley, Piper, & Sky). The stay was just how it was described within the VRBO listing. They even had little milk bones for the pups. My husband was able to teach my son how to play pool for the first time ever in the game room! My daughter & I enjoyed taking photos with the incredible view off of the back balcony! It was clean, fresh, & everything we hoped for! We will be back soon!
