A luxury Pigeon Forge 2750 Square Foot Cabin in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, “Great Escape,” will exceed even your wildest fantasies. Surrounded by opulence at every turn, this cozy cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, and features amenities galore as far as the eye can see!

The great room offers a 50' plasma TV, high-speed Internet, and an amazing stone fireplace. “Great Escape” even has its very own game room with a pool table, air hockey table, stand-up arcade unit, and a 50” plasma TV. And the hits keep coming—mosey down the stairs and enjoy your very own cinema room with a 55” flat screen LED TV with surround sound!

“Great Escape” offers two large master suites, each with a 32' flat screen TV and DVD player, bedside Jacuzzi, and private bath. And what’s more, “Great Escape” also features an outdoor kitchen and grill—the perfect way to bring your family together in the Great Smoky Mountains! After dinner, relax in your large screened-in hot tub and take in the fresh Smoky Mountain air. This is an awesome place to gather with family and friends around an outdoor stone fireplace built into the deck!

Smoky Cove Resort offers a multitude of amenities including a cabin shaped pool, badminton, volleyball and horseshoes; all within walking distance from the cabin. This luxury log cabin resort includes so many luxuries there is no need to go too far from the front door of “Great Escape” for a great vacation that will keep you coming back!

In lieu of collecting a security deposit, we will collect, for each reservation, a one-time non-refundable $85.00 damage waiver fee. This is already included in the Property fee you pay when booking. The damage waiver is provided by Waivo, a third-party vendor which is not affiliated with us. Generally, the damage waiver provides up to $10,000 of coverage towards unintentional property damage. The coverage is subject to all applicable terms and conditions imposed by Waivo, including, without limitation, those terms and conditions described on the attached Exhibit A. Waivo’s terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any changes to or variance in Waivo’s terms and conditions which conflict with or contradict the information provided in Exhibit A. You are responsible for obtaining accurate and up-to-date terms and conditions directly from Waivo at the time of purchase. The cabin is nice with a great layout! We had a few issues that the manager was able to handle. Bugs and the AC broke on our last night. Property needs a good deep clean and some maintenance done. This could be a great experience with a little TLC!

Amazing Property

This was the first time I’ve ever used Vrbo so I didn’t know what to expect.When we arrived at the property we were in complete amazement. The cabin was clean and very well maintained. There was plenty of things to do (pool, air hockey, games, etc) for our kids, and we enjoyed the hot tubs. Everything you could possibly need was included in the cabin.The hosts were absolutely amazing with clear instructions for everything. They were sincere in making sure we had a great time as well.The location could not have been better. It was away enough from the hustle/bustle of Pigeon Forge but only a 10 minute drive from most things. Absolutely quiet and peaceful setting.When we return to the Pigeon Forge area there is no question we will return to The Great Escape!

Nice but not so nice

Our stay was okay. The owners have the property for sale and you can tell it hasnt been maintained. Cob webs were everywhere on the porches. So many, I cleaned them up. Pillows on beds were very very old. Game room was very nice and kitchen was well stocked except only 1 wine glass. We were not there much really only to lay our heads down. Sorry for the comments but you asked.

Great vacation

We enjoyed our first time visit to Pigeon. Forge/Gaitlinburg. The property we stayed in was beautiful andwas not that far away from things we wantedto do or places to get groceries. Being away from the hustle and bustle made for nice quiet time when we needed it. The house is very well equipped with things you would need to be able to cook and stay for more than a few days. Sleeping 10 means using two pull out couches, which with our family was not a big deal. Having all the bathroom space was a great thing as well. Communication with both the owner, and the person in charge of the property was very quick and questions were answered as well.We would certainly consider renting this property again for our next visit to the area.

Dirty and bad communication

Upon arrival I was unable to get into the cabin using the code I was given, I messaged the owners and called and did not receive a response back. I barely had service so it was hard to reach out to anyone. I was able to connect to their WiFi and call their housekeeper which she called back almost immediately and gave me a temporary code. The cabin is beautiful but it was extremely dirty, there was dust and dirt almost everywhere especially on the uncleaned blackstone grill that we would have loved to use one night. There were stains on sheets and towels as well, the dishes were dirty too. Along with the dishes being dirty, the dishwasher did not work either so we had to hand wash our dishes before we checked out. We also were not made aware of what the code was for the trash until we asked the last day. Again the cabin is beautiful and spacious and it was great to have it for this weekend but I was extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness.

Within a 5-6 minute drive you are transformed from beautiful mountain views, to the beautiful city of Sevierville or Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is just past that! The house is just as it is pictured! Full of character and charm, with the right amount of functionality that a family would look for!

True Tennessee Mountain Experience

This cabin was everything that i wanted. I was looking for that Tennessee experience, and this cabin nailed it. It is in the mountains with narrow windy roads. The master suite was exceptional! From the fireplace to the large bathroom. The downstairs had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, tv room, livingroom and games. I would highly recommend this cabin, and stay in it again. The communication with the owners were great also. We had no problems at all. It is away from all the hussle and bussle of the crowded city. It also had a fully stocked kitchen. I would suggest if you plan on cooking on the grill that you bring foil or a grill pad. It is very very dirty.

Great Cabin Stay!

We stayed here for a family Christmas vacation. The cabin was decorated for Christmas. It’s a beautiful cabin with plenty of space. The amount of porch space was excellent. The fireplaces were easy to use and I appreciated the automatic timers on them. The master bedroom was even bigger than I imagined. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely check to see if it’s available for our next trip to this area!!

Rustic & Homey vs Luxury & First Class

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin was comfortable and functional. Although I would not call it "luxury" and "first class". The furnishings & amenities are heavily used with lots of wear & tear like a long lived in home that some general maintenance gets put off for another day. The bedding & general use areas were all clean, however there was heavy dirt, dust, & cobwebs on light fixtures and trim, water damage and stains around doors & thresholds, crumbs & stains in kitchen cabinets, stones around fireplaces & tubs falling off, toilets running etc... The shower in the upstairs bathroom did not work, the control knobs were missing from one shower head and the other only would produce warm water. Several lights did not work & bulbs were missing, the air hockey table was broke when we arrived & is in very pour condition. The owners were very responsive to our feedback and immediately offered to have their local team come out to address our concerns and stated their understanding was everything was functional in the cabin. They did get the air hockey table working the next day, but we declined having the rest of the items addressed, because we did not want to spend our time waiting around the cabin & coordinating maintenance, & while disappointing & not inline with our expectations from the listing, it did not take away from our enjoyment of our time at the cabin. While we probably wouldn't stay there again, we enjoyed our stay & it suited our needs.
