This is a bed and breakfast owned and run by Sarah who is delightful! She makes homemade breakfast bread ( banana chip, lemon raspberry, blueberry rhubarb, etc) for breakfast along with made to order eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage and home fries. Great conversation around the breakfast table with fellow travelers and we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay there. Very homey atmosphere.

Very Pleasant Experience!

Northern Lights was wonderful! We would absolutely stay here again. Sarah was a tremendous host and cooked a great breakfast each morning :). The room was clean, had everything that we needed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, easy to find and had parking directly in front of the bed and breakfast. It made our time in Seward very enjoyable!

What a lovely place! After departing a cruise ship early in the morning, we were able to store our luggage there and see the town while waiting for our room to be ready. We stayed in the Bear Glacier room on the first floor, basically 2 adjoining bedrooms and a bathroom. Very comfortable! Only negative is that the walls and floor are not insulated to reduce noise. Could hear pretty clearly through the walls. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. Sarah even made gluten free scones for my daughter! Great location - walking distance to the aquarium and downtown. Seward is such a beautiful spot. I would definitely stay here again!

Sarah is the best host - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful & funny! You can’t get a better start to the day than her breakfast. Quiet spot on the edge of town but close to everything. If you’re in Seward - make Northern Nights your base!

Beautiful downtown Seward

We had a great stay. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Property is beautiful and the location is in downtown Seward, walking distance to shops and short drive to harbor, but still quiet at night. We will stay there again when we visit Seward again.
