The staff was fine but our room was very noisy. Maybe people coming back from the casino at 2am.There were a lot of dogs staying there and one of our beds was covered in dog hair. There breakfast was just ok.

Beautiful hotel- very clean and room was perfect! There is a pet fee $25 per night which I’m not used to paying but I am grateful the dogs can stay, so hey I guess it is what it is

Room smelled of smoke and there was pet hair on the furniture The elevator was broken for part of the stay, so we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs. Staff was friendly and gave us a room on the 2nd floor instead of 3rd.

This hotel is an excellent choice! It was clean, comfortable, the room was spacious and in excellently furnished. The staff was very polite and professional, and the amenities are exceptional. The only flaw was the elevator...it was functional, but not smooth, and was a bit unnerving. I mentioned it to the desk clerk, and she said that the elevator company had ordered a part to repair it. We come to Shawnee several times a year, and always try to stay at the La Quinta. It is our hotel of choice!
