Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room smelled like musty wet rug. When I asked the front desk, he mentioned the rugs had been cleaned recently. I asked to be put in another room. “I only have a handicap room available”. It also smelled but not as strong. There were only 3-4 guests staying there! The entire 2nd floor was empty. The rooms were in poor shape, especially the bathrooms, where the shower edge was broken off leaving the broken edges and a floor drain in the middle of the room that was being dug up around and looked to be in repair. Mold around the edges. Paint chipped off. It looked like it was under repair and I was put in there anyway, with several other rooms available. The only thing that was good, was the bed being comfortable. The rates were cheaper by $15 to other nearby hotels, so I thought I would give it a try, but extra unknown fees were added and not explained. Taxes and unknown fees added up to $60 for two night stay, so cost being cheaper than other hotel erased. I will not be staying there ever again.
