Although "in the middle of nowhere," it was just a short 4 mile drive to beautiful Pentwater - which we enjoyed tremendously over 3 days/nights. Also, just a short drive to Ludington and Silver Beach. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable - we slept really well! Pool and hot tub were great - did not use the exercise equipment. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection - employee kept it well stocked and clean. All in all - a great experience, and we will likely stay again!!

Musty smell, way too expensive for the accommodation and doesn’t represent Renaissance well. Front desk person also cleaned toilets and cooked breakfast! Wouldn’t never stay there again.

The landscaping and location are excellent and the staff is super nice. However the rooms are outdated and lack furniture and chairs. The shower is extremely slippery with no grab bars. The breakfast was mediocre. There aren’t many options in the area and this place is OK but it could be much nicer with some additional furniture and room deco updates.

Looks like a nice family perhaps owns this property and they were out (3 generations worth!) planting annuals out front when we arrived. We were there two nights. I love that this hotel has a bathtub (that actually held water!) and that I could take a bath in the evenings. Nice place in sort of the middle of nowhere, but just 10 minutes from the cute little town of Pentwater.
