While this property is under constructio , there are definitely some things that could be better. Cheap bed frames and beds, new showerhead not installed correctly, dirty dirty hallways, loud noises while checking in, breakfast was hardly warm. Air conditioner worked fine and room was nice size, just expect more for $150.

I've stayed at various Mirotel hotels before, and they are fairly inexpensive and are clean and have nice rooms. There were no closets in this particular room although they had plenty of hooks. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but not as good as others. There was no eggs or sausage. The only hot items were waffles and biscuits and gravy. I would stay here again though.

Decent for the price

Overall the trip was fine, you get what you pay for. But doing pre check in does nothing, you will have to do it all again. Also, our smoke alarm managed to go off at four am. When we let them know, they asked us to remove it ourselves and they’d fix it tomorrow which never happened. Just a little weird!

Room and hotel is run down. Room smelt like dog. Bed was ok. Bathroom celing had black spots and had damage spots. Pictures are very misleading. Condition isn't even close. It was a let down. Room seemed likr it was cleaned but could use a deep cleaning. We weren't in the room too much so thats the only thing that saved the trip. Staff was very friendly however. Its too bad they use "fake pictures" on the site.

Could hear people talking in the hall like they were in our room. We were on the first floor and could hear noise above us. ok room for the price, ceiling plaster coming off in the ceiling of the shower.

To start with we asked for a room on the ground floor due to me using a walker which did not happen, got stuck on the 2nd floor in a very small room which had been freshly painted so we had to run the bathroom vent the whole time with the ac fan running to help. We had 3 towels,1washcloth, and 1 hand towel for me and my wife. The shower did work well but no foot grips in the tub. Had a near fall getting out of it they need grab bars installed to help people be safe. The continental breakfast was pretty shabby. Had 1 fruit apples, some yogart white bread 1 kind of bagel and small muffins, saus gravy with a bisquit, juice, milk, coffee and 1 waffel maker. So it was pretty weak. Probably won't stay at that one again. The floor they put us on was under construction and carpert was shabby. We have stayed at other microtels and they were totally better. I guess you live and learn

We really enjoyed our week stay. They were under construction, is why i gave 4 on property condition. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We needed to upgrade to 2 queens (due to both of us having surgery). They easily and pleasantly completed the upgrade in seconds. We will definitely us Microtel in the future when we have appts in Sioux Falls.
