Not so great

The top linen of the bed looked grimy, the sheets were ok but I wondered if they’d actually been washed. The room had a very strong perfume smell, covering something up. We turned on the small tv and the cable would time out the whole time. We felt misled by a lot of high reviews, definitely not 8/10, more like a 5 or 6.

For the cost, the room had no coffee maker, fridge or microwave. Not enough soap available and to get ice, you had to go back downstairs to the lobby. The room had definitely been smoked in and the a/c wasn't on when we arrived, with plenty of notice. It's July and hot. Would not stay again.

I love staying at thos hotel every time Its xlose to the mall, they serve breakfast and the staff is super friendly and helful and they never rush you at checkout time if youre running behind.

We've stayed at this property quite often. It's always been a good price for the amount of time we spend in Sioux Falls. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is clean, well stocked, and provides a great variety. The bathroom was clean. The property is in desperate need of updating. The chair and the window covering in the room had what appeared to be pencil markings on them. The wall behind the counter had what appeared to be from splattering food. In the past we've had second floor rooms which were in much better shape. In the future we will ask for a second floor room.

Sketchy people loitering around the entrances. Did not feel safe. Noises in the wall most of the night so no sleep. Cleaning lady in the morning spraying disinfectant in the breakfast area, on the food. How much worse could it be?

We got in late and left early, so this worked well for our needs. However, our room was very outdated , the desk was water damaged and warped, and the carpet felt moist. The breakfast was great and staff were very pleasant- if you just need a place to crash, this ticks the boxes. If you are going to be there for a few days or plan to spend significant time in the room, the quality may not suit your needs.
