based on the rating of "good" on Expedia, and based on my long experience with this website, I was frankly expecting much better. this hotel is not awful but is below average for the price point. it smells bad and everything feels like it's on the verge of falling apart and super cheap. the shelf above the sink in the bathroom was on the verge of falling off and slanted downward so you coudn't leave anything on it. It seems to be a place where weddings are hosted which is hard to imagine. It'd be a little better than hosting a wedding in a Motel 6. If you need a place for one night I guess it suffices but I can't imagine staying here for more than 12 hours.

STREAM SIDE WARNING! Booked a stream side sight. Got there and thankfully the band on the deck bar was warming up before we settled into our room. The band noise was very loud. Asked the front desk how long the band plays, stated until 1:00am. Asked for a different room and the front desk was very accommodating and nice and were able to get us into a different room thankfully. Nothing is conveniently located inside the hotel. No elevator where we were. Not a whole lot of steps but a hassle with luggage. Outside courtyard desperately needs cleaned up and maintained. Could be so much better. The room doors stick and you hear doors slamming all day and night. So disappointed and won’t be returning. There are too many other choices that are better with better rates.

This property is a great place for a good time. Live band, dancing and the outside bar overlooks a beautiful creek. The outside bar tender was great. This is not a place for a quiet evening as the bar stays open until 1am. Again great place for a lively person. The rooms are dated but the beds are comfortable. The lobby was really nice and there are several viewing spots to view the creek.

Those this looks like a motel from the outside. It is such a peaceful place to stay. We booked a room for our family and our dog and we were able to just open our back patio door to an enclosed wooded area. It was all lit up at night and there were fireflies around And the pool and restaurant were right across from our room. There was a beautiful stream on the other side of the wall. Just a really nice area if you like the woods.

This place could be amazing.You get what you pay for, please add more signs directions if things are closed . 2 pools , club , 2 restaurants , get all of your supplies before you go to walmart down the street. Park in the back lot

Staff is great and the outside bar is wonderful. We stayed in the Tower on this trip as a wedding took over the main building. We found the Tower to be nice, comfortable but someone in an adjacent room to ours was smoking and the smell came through the vent into our bathroom, totally smelling up our room. I contacted the front desk immediately upon entering the room so I wasn’t charged a $250.00 cleaning fee. Also, we found the bed a bit hard and the pillows were not plush but rather solid and uncomfortable. Overall, we had a nice stay, prefer the main building but the Woodland remains our go to for a stay in Wilkes Barre PA
