Nice hotel, rude front desk

Hotel was nice. Check in was good. Checkout was not a good experience. The lady at the desk was rude about the airport transfer when I asked a question (the driver was standing right next to her, apparently her boyfriend). He was nice. She was not. She also fussed at me for trying to look at the big window by the restaurant. I knew the restaurant was closed. It was 5am and I just wanted to see outside so I could tell my husband I wanted to come back here.

Rooms were old and had a musky small. toilet was broken then got clogged. When we called maintenance it took them 2 hours and multiple visits to get it working. Hand soap in the room was empty. Rooms were hot and the portable cooler/ac did nothing to cool it down. Coffee was offered in the morning and then moved away 2 hours later. No breakfast offered which is a huge negative to this place since there is nothing close by for breakfast.

Excellent location for public shuttle transportation and bus into Aspen. Both stop at the entrance to the Inn. Room needs updating. Restaurant has poor options for breakfast.

Excellent staff were very accommodating. Nice Resturant and bar. Frequent shuttles that we didn't use but should have as car traffic into Aspen is terrible. Would love to stay here in the winter for skiing.

Awesome stay, excellent experience through and through Mike PS: if I would have to point one item. I’d say it’s AC or rather lack thereof in the room. I get the focus on environment etc, no one is saying it needs to be running all day- but it would be great to have it at night. I didn’t realize there is a fan in the closet until our check out ;-)

Good value for money, and excellent restaurant

This place isn't fancy, but it's comfortable and fairly priced. Most important: it has a very good restaurant (Heathers) - though it's not open for lunch.

Lovely

Great location - stayed 1 night. A short walk (uphill) to the mall with restaurants and stores. Free gondola ride down the hill to the lower restaurants. Beautiful gardens and scenery. Bus stops right outside the inn.
