The property was excellent! It would have been even better if they had offered a free continental breakfast instead of a made to order breakfast that cost you extra. They did have free coffee in the lobby which was great. We have stayed before at Holiday Inn Expresses

The manager and the guy at the front desk are wonderful. The female assistant manager and her minion are HORRIBLE!!! They feel like they’re entitled and definitely tell you through their actions. Food pricey but, their laundry facility is decent so they balance each other out. The housekeeping ladies are so sweet and respectful of the do not disturb signs. 😎 The add breakfast option when making reservation is worth it. GO IRISH!!! 🍀🍀🍀

Enjoyed our Anniversary Getaway

This was our first time in South Bend as we celebrated our anniversary and this holiday inn was impeccable to the front desk manager greeting us with a warm and friendly welcome to the waitress who waited on us for our morning breakfast. The staff was constantly cleaning even soo much that they went extensive lengths to cleaning the carpets in one elevator, and the housekeepers did an awesome job cleaning our room definitely will be returning.

Check in was fast we headed up to our room to find a bunch of hair on one of our beds. I called reception immediately and we were switched to a new room. The new room seemed ok, in the night I found blood on our comforter. I threw it on the floor to sleep with the sheet. I didn’t bother telling the staff because I was tired of dragging things into different rooms. If I wasnt travelling with my daughter I would have left during the first night
