We could not locate this property because the markee said Clover but we had reservations at Wubgate by Windom. The breakfast was totally inadequate- she said they couldn't get oven turned on and the new company was going to install new kitchen equipment. Hardly any fo andnot ready.

As of the date Aug 9 this was a nice facility I was a little disappointed that the restaurant/pub is not open for business. Would’ve been nice to know that before I got there. But because it was an economical price it can be overlooked without any heavy complaining. It’s very obvious at this hotel was owned by someone else at one time and is in the process of being switched over to the new name Wingate.

Check-in went well but when we got to the room it wasn't the type of room I requested. On Expedia I choose a roll-in/walk-in shower because my father-in-law needed it. The room had a tub and no hand rails. I went to the front desk and she and told her the room didn’t match my reservation. She stated that the room information they received from Expedia didn’t match my booking info. She also stated we were the second person to have that issue that day. They did not have any rooms left with the walk-in shower but she was able to find us a room with a tub that had hand rails and a seat in the tub area. It worked but wasn’t the best situation to find ourselves in. Not sure who was at fault but the receptionist was helpful in finding us a room that worked better for us. The hotel also looks like it just transitioned hands and is under renovation as well.

Got in late just needing a place to crash for the night. This was fine. The tub drain wouldn’t stay open no matter how many times I tried. The pipe from the shower head was pulled from the wall. The decor was dark and dated. But it was clean, comfortable. If I were staying for a few days, I’d probably look elsewhere but for a quick overnight it was fine.

The room was very nice and the staff was friendly but the free breakfast was horrible. Basically all they had was cereal with no bowls, microwave bacon, milk, coffee and a couple of stale bagels.

I booked this on Expedia and I was told that dogs were allowed I booked this room and I was told it had a pool so I booked the room I go in I already paid for everything online my mom came from out of town we go in and they tell me no dogs so that took us the whole way back and now you guys charged my card anyway and gave me a $32 and a selfie I think that I deserve my money back and a free room quit lying to people

Rooms need major remodeling

We checked in, drove around to the door our room was in. When we walked in the hallway it immediately had a huge box sitting in the door way of the entrance, the hallway smelled funky. We got to our room I immediately noticed the paint peeling off the walls, it looked like mold or something on the wall, our shoes was sticking to the floor like it hadn’t been mopped, and it also smelled weird. We went and checked out wasn’t even there 5 minutes.

Great value stay

The hotel is of great value and it seemed one can get more than what they pay for! The hotel is conveniently located with a big parking lot. There is a Chinese restaurant on the premises. The building has been recently renovated (but not done quite well since there were large and uneven gaps). The room is big enough for two. TV and WiFi both worked well. Shower is a brand new walk-in. Noise control from the hallway could be an issue. Breakfast spread was just okay - The pancake machine was a plus. Coffee and tea were available throughout the stay in the lobby.

I booked the motel because of the in house restaurant only to find out that the restaurant was closed due to renovations. The man in the room next to me was on his phone and talking very loudly. I could hear every word he said.

The room was recently renovated. The building where my room was located is in the process of being renovated, with a large appliance not yet unboxed sitting in the guest hallway. Apparently, this was The Clover Hotel and permanent signage says that, with Wyndham in temporary signs over it. It has potential. My room was large but lacked a comfortable chair. There was lots of room for one.
