The hotel was not all that busy and it was snowing so when I went to call the uber it would have needed extra time for me to check out. I called and asked for an additional 30 minute leeway and was told No…that happens to me about 5% of the time. They said ‘wait in the lobby’. I left on time but could have really used that extra few minutes…

The bed was fine. The couch and two chairs need to go. The two chairs have no padding. The couch is hard and noisy. The water in the hotel and room smells and taste awful. The dining room food was off the charts awesome. Great staff. Beer is expensive $6.50 a bottle and not that cold. The included breakfast, with the food in the restaurant being so great I would think the breakfast would be too. Nope, Motel 6 quality breakfast. Microwave sausage and instant eggs. Filled the void but not what we expected from this place. If we return we will seek another place to stay.

Two very nice stays at the D within a month and both earn high marks. Jim, at the front desk, checked us in on the two occasions and he was efficient and a treat to speak with. The person assigned to the breakfast bar was also great - helpful and friendly. Thanks to all.
