The room was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast left alpt to be desired but the waffles were great! The remote to our tv did not work, which was aggravating.The street lights shined in our window all night making it very hard to get a good nights sleep. The pool is very small for the size of the hotel and they closed it at 8pm nightly. It isn't even dark then. I was not aware of the construction to the parking lot and building when making the reservations. I would not book here again.

It’s a cheaper construction, toilet in my room had a ring around bowl, room’s carpet wasn’t well swept & front entrance-door windows badly needed cleaning. Southport, NC has many lovely small lodgings so look up one of those or stay at the local Marriott Fairfield Inn.

Amazing staff, front desk staff very personable; even housekeeping was very kind when I left something behind. Clean rooms, perfect accommodations, great layout, cool pool!! Only thing I was sad about is breakfast ended at 9. I feel if you're truly comfortable there, it's a good thing to rest in. Will stay again!
