We enjoyed our 2-night stay with our dog. The room was clean and extra spacious (500sq ft!!) The bathroom is clean, well maintained and well stocked. The breakfast tastes great with many choices. I like the way they prepared the eggs and the self-made waffles was delicious.The layout of the building is well thought-out with elevators located in the perfect location for customers with lugguges. I particularly find the "weather station" a fun and special-touch to the place which brings smiles to all the visitors.

We are always greeted with a friendly smile at Comfort Suites Southport. The front desk clerks are always ready to help in any way they can. they are friendly and engaging, asking about you trip and/or family. I really like that! The rooms are spacious and clean.

Overall a nice stay in the king suite, especially with my dog. Other than someone hammering metal in the hallway at 730am, everything was as good or better than expected.

The room was so spacious with an extra sink by the fridge for dishes. Our daughter had a spot on a couch and small table to do schoolwork (plus a desk). We were not bothered by hall noise. Comfortable beds. Very clean. 7 minutes to the beach. Good breakfast with waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. Cheerful cook who suggested we take the ferry to the Carolina Beach area south of Wilmington. Perfect idea.

Our dog can stay cheaper than most places in the area. Nice polite and friendly staff. A clean room and comfortable bed . Breakfast had different options such as yogurt, scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs . We bring our own cereal because we are gluten free. Clean and well maintained breakfast. Areas around hotel to walk dog. This time visiting only a night here, but have been here in season and still like the hotel.

The front desk was very nice! I was in for Business, but wanted to do some sightseeing. They gave the best advice and directions. I was able to see all I wanted to AND MORE! The room was clean, the staff was nice and breakfast was good.

The front desk person took 20 minutes to get logged into the computer to check me in. She did not charge the pet fee at check in, but ran it later that evening. I assumed the fee was going to be waived due to the inconvenience of waiting 20 to be checked in.

Plus: Cozy hotel (in November), clean rooms, good hot breakfast, comfortable bed, good shower, nice and helpful staff, perfect value for money. Minus: The TV remote did not work properly, the toilet did not always stop running the water, a dead cockroach was found in our bathroom.
